It's a good thing that this family ski area at the gates of the city of Salzburg is back! Perfect for teaching children to ski.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abwechslungsreiches und weitläufiges kleines Skigebiet für Einsteiger und Fortgeschrittene. Die Tageskarte lohnt sich auf alle Fälle. Die Pisten waren alle bestens präpariert, das Liftpersonal freundlich und genug Hütten für einen Imbiss vorhanden. Ein Einziger Wermutstropfen: Die Lifte sind etwas älter und langsam, daher sitzt ihr viel im Lift. Der Parkplatz ist zudem recht klein in Hintersee. Ein schöner Pluspunkt: bei den langen Schleppliften ist für "Notausgänge" zurück zur Piste gesorgt, damit ihr nicht durch den Wald irren oder die Liftspur runterschleichen müsst wenn es euch mal aufstellt. Wir hatten Traum-Schnee und Kaiserwetter, und fanden den Tag hier super.
Varied and extensive small ski area for beginners and advanced skiers. The day pass is definitely worth it. The pistes were all perfectly groomed, the lift staff were friendly and there were enough huts for a snack. A single drop of bitterness: The lifts are a bit older and slow, so you sit in the lift a lot. The parking lot is also quite small in Hintersee. A nice plus point: the long tow lifts have "emergency exits" back to the slopes so that you don't have to wander through the forest or sneak down the lift track if you get stuck. We had dream snow and glorious weather and thought the day here was great.
