★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really recommend to visit. Easy to reach with a bus from Salzburg. Unforgettable emotions on the way to the top of mountain. Can enjoy a nice view from top and take a walk. If get cold in winter, always can go to some restaurants there to get some hot food, drink a beer or Glühwein

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy to reach via bus from Salzburg and free admission included with the salzburg card. Beautiful views with plenty of room to go for a hike if that's what you wanted to do. A restaurant is also present at the top and the cable car goes every 30 mins so there's no need to rush.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We hiked up and took the cable car down. You need to be moderately fit and not have a fear of hights to hike up our route, I'm not sure if there is a easier way though. The end has a narrow and steep section of wooden pole stairways but there is a cable attached to the cliff face that you can hold on to. Great views all the way up and a well deserved beer at the Hutte. Views at the top are incredible. Well worth it. Takes about 3 to 3,5 hrs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quick and efficient ride up the Untersberg mountain in less than 10’. We arrived at 08:55 and got on the first ride up, so we had the place to ourselves. Stunning views of Salzburg and its surroundings throughout the ride. 1 star less because the trolley is not well coordinated with the cable car, we arrived down and the trolley just left as we were approaching the station. Probably not the cable car company’s fault but I hope someone will notice and review…
Tip: buy the Salzburg card if you’re planning to use this for ascent and descent!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic view from the top. I regret not wearing shoes with better grip for the snow so we couldn't continue to walk up to a higher spot. Some of the inclines are pretty steep so if you're wearing sneakers there's a good chance you'll be slipping. Must do this if you're visiting (best to get a Salzburg Card)
