Sunneschlössli Lodge****

Wir sind nur mal zum anschauen in Bergwandererkluft hin und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Es gab sogar einen Kaffee zur Unterhaltung mit den Eigentümern, hier kann man sich ja nur wohlfühlen? Für kommendes Jahr schon mal fest eingeplant??

Wir hatten ein wunderschönes Wochenende im Sunneschlössli / Nesselwängle. Top geführtes, familiäres Haus - Gastgeber sind überaus freundlich. Tolle Einrichtung ... Orient bzw. Schlossambiente. Schöner Wellnessbereich und netter Badeteich. Frühstück voll lecker. Rundherum perfekt ! Wir kommen sicher wieder !!!

Sehr schöne Lage gleich am Wald und den Wanderwegen, tolle Ferienwohnungen, super Service, alles sauber. Schöne kleine Wellnessanlage. Freundliche Vermieter. Alles klappt problemlos.

Daniela und Frank sind die geborenen Gastgeber. Sie kümmern sich liebevoll um Ihre Gäste. Das Haus ist tatsächlich ein kleines Schloss, die Wohnungen sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet und toll ausgestattet, das Anwesen lädt zum Entspannen ein und die Umgebung ist malerisch.

Die nette und höfliche Dame am Empfang rettete mir und meinem Kumpel im übertragenen Sinne das Leben. Wir kamen nach ca. 8 Stunden Wanderung im Tal an und mussten uns bemühen ein Klo aufzusuchen, da wir seit dem Vorabend nicht mehr waren. Der gesamte Abstieg war eine Qual und umso größer die Erleichterung, als das erste Hotel am Fuß des Bergwaldes uns einen Toilettenbesuch ohne Umstände ermöglichte. Wir sind nicht nur dankbar über diese nette Geste sondern auch über die Gepflegtheit der Lobby und des Bades. Sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und sauber gehalten. Nur zu empfehlen! 5 Sterne sind das Mindeste was ich tun kann. Vielen, vielen, lieben Dank!

My Husband and I had a wonderful start to our honeymoon at Sunneschloessli Lodge. We checked in on 22 June and stayed for 3 days at the Tower Suite DORNRÖSCHEN. The apartment was spacious, immaculate and beautiful, I could see that Daniela and Frank spared no expense in decorating and making the space comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped and very clean. There is a proper dinning area and living room. It was really lovely to just lounge on the sofa and rocking chair with a cuppa of hot drink. Sunneschloessli is conveniently located near the beginning of a popular hiking trail. We literally rolled out of bed and went for a hike on Sunday morning. Everything you need seems to be a short drive away and our hosts introduced us to a few delicious eateries around. The whole experience was so delightfully charming and we felt like we had escaped into a luxurious holiday home. Everything was warm and thoughtful, Daniela and Frank were wonderful hosts. We were reluctant to leave, we felt like we could stay on for a few more days exploring the other hiking trails.

A home away from home We had an unforgettable weekend in this beautifully unique lodge. The moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the owners Daniela and Frank, who welcomed us with freshly mixed cocktails that immediately washed away our exhaustion from the long journey. We stayed in the Biedermeier Suite. Furnished with tastefully selected vintage furniture and decorative pieces, it was cosy and pleasantly composed in style. To our delight, the balcony of the suite opened up to a view of the mountains that fanned out majestically before us. As we explored the various parts of this spacious lodge, we found ourselves walking through layers and layers of surprises: the entrance hall that is guarded by a life-size antique metal armour, the rustic breakfast room that looks out to the garden pool, the spa area that is apt for spoiling anyone, and the Orient Express salon that captivates with its laid-back and mysterious oriental charm. Each room here has been thoughtfully set up with selective furniture and art pieces. It is not only a haven to rest, relax and reminisce in art and history, but also an invitation to travel and discover the world with the owners’ precious collections. After spending a good day hiking up and down the mountains, the natural pool in the garden offered a much welcome relief for our legs. For the less courageous, the indoor steam room and whirlpool are just as nice for getting rid of your fatigue. We also enjoyed a quiet game of croquet in the garden under the warm afternoon sun, and chilling out in the glass-roofed cigar lounge in the cool evening. The purpose of our stay was to relax, do some hiking, and de-stress from our busy working life. At Sunneschloessli, we have discovered more than we could imagine. We did relax, and relaxed with style in the cosiness of a place where we felt at home.
