A	Al Pizzica on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took family of four here with little notice. Treated like kings. Waiter was most hustling server I've ever seen in Europe, let alone Austria. Food was A++ for foodie parents and picky kids (6 and 10). On top of everything prices reasonable for what we got.

The steaks were cooked perfectly (recommend the flank) and the schnitzel was delicious. Was wonderful to eat outside in the patio area...seemed to be very popular with local residents which is always a good sign.

The staff were very cheerful, friendly and competent. The food was absolutely delicious. As a family of four with two teenagers it was lovely that we all found something we liked on the menu. My daughter wished we could give more stars. Thank you for making our first evening in Salzburg so memorable.
S	Slightly Mad Lobster Dad on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a different experience. I'm used to hustle. It's very relaxed. One friendly waiter covered the place (at his own pace). There were big family groups in. The family behind us played cards together in between courses.... which fits perfectly with the vibe here. People are here to spend a relaxed evening in spotlessly clean surroundings... and have food served to them with occasional wine top ups. In the UK somebody else would be booked next in my table and I need to vacate in under 2 hours. Not here. There was a vegan option we found.... but vegans should look elsewhere. Most of the food was traditional local fare. Cooked well too and decently presented. Not budget nor breaking the bank. It is hearty food. Tasty. Welcome to Austria, this is how they cook, but I suspect more importantly this is the family centred way they eat. A few things to be learned here. Plenty of outdoor seating for the summer months we'd missed. Hard to fault (unless you are in a hurry).
