M	Manfred Laun on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Auf der Walleralm ist der Besuch der urig kleinen "Stöfflhütte" zu empfehlen, die bereits 350 Jahre alt ist und nur im Sommer bewirtschaftet wird. Nach alten Rezepten werden hier Käse und Kaminwurzen hergestellt und typische Tiroler Gerichte zubereitet. Dazu wird das süffige Stöfflbräu-Bier angeboten. Ein beliebtes Ziel für Bergwanderer, das ohne große Mühe erreichbar ist. Dorthin gelangt man über Scheffau zunächst zum herrlich gelegenen "Hintersteiner See", ein Natur-Juwel 880 m hoch, mit Parkplatz und Badegelegenheit in kristallklarem Wasser. Hier beginnt eine schöne, überwiegend schattige, unkritische Wanderung im aufsteigenden Wald. Bis zur Stöffl-Hütte, auf 1186 m, sind dabei 300 Höhenmeter zu überwinden Für den Abstieg bietet sich alternativ auch ein bequemer, aber längerer Weg an, eine Forststraße zum rückseitigen Ende des Hintersteiner Sees, ggf. mit Pause an einem Gasthof mit hervorragender Buttermilch. Von hier führt ein Sträßchen zum Parkplatz, am malerischen See entlang. A	Armanda Boom on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aanrader! Klein en knus hutje. Heerlijk gegeten en geslapen. Ze hebben een aantal kleine kamers en 1 grote kamer. De douche op de begane grond is n beetje laag. Recommended! Small and cozy cabin. Delicious eaten and slept. They have a number of small rooms and 1 large room. The shower on the ground floor is a little low.
A	Anba Anba on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ganz tolle Alm. Urig und toll gelegen. Essen total mega klasse. Wir sind vom Parkplatz ( Parkplatzgebühr 3 Euro an einer Maier Jause) ca. 1 Stunde gelaufen. Es ging bergauf und ab, war aber gut machbar. Gute Wegbeschreibung. Sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Wiederholungsfaktor 100 Prozent. Very great Alm. Quaint and great location. Food was really great. We walked from the parking lot (parking fee 3 euros at a Maier snack) about 1 hour. It went uphill and downhill, but was well done. Good directions. Very nice and attentive staff. Repetition factor 100 percent.

Schöner Wanderweg vom Hintersteiner See Quaint old cottage, which has preserved its cosiness for decades. Simple, good Tyrolean cuisine, even brewed beers. That's exactly what you imagine on the mountain. Very nice staff and top Kaiserschmarrn. The raisins tasted nice to rum. I was completely satisfied. Thank you!
k	kaninchenliebe on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waren nach langer Wanderung voller Erwartungen auf den sonst guten Kaiserschmarrn, und wurden sehr enttäuscht. 5 Portionen Mehlpappe für knapp 50 Euro. Haben wohl leider den falschen Tag erwischt. Hütte ist urig und sehr schön und die anderen Gerichte sahen auch gut aus. Also ihr lieben Stöfflhüttebetreiber, gebt euch bei den nächsten Kaiserschmarrn wieder mehr Mühe. After a long hike we were full of expectations for the otherwise good Kaiserschmarrn, and were very disappointed. 5 servings of flour cardboard for just under 50 euros. Unfortunately caught the wrong day. Hut is quaint and very nice and the other dishes looked good too. So, dear Stöfflhütte operators, try harder with the next Kaiserschmarrn.
s	s. ohyah on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waren heute dort nach einer schönen Wanderung vom Hintersteiner See aus. Zwischen Kühen und Almwiesen erwartet einen die Stöfflhütte. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und bestellten dort Kaspressknödelsuppen, Kaiserschmarrn, Buttermilch, viele Schorlen. Das Essen war himmlisch, kann man nicht anderes sagen. Es war echt wunderbar dort. Vielen Dank an Koch und die freundliche Bedienung. Were there today after a nice hike from the Hintersteiner See. The Stöfflhütte awaits you between cows and alpine meadows. We received a very friendly welcome and ordered cheese dumpling soups, Kaiserschmarrn, buttermilk and lots of spritzers. The food was divine, you can't say otherwise. It was really wonderful there. Many thanks to the chef and the friendly service.
J	Joe Sailer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir haben heute super gegessen. Kinderschnitzel, Kaiserschmarrn (sehr empfehlenswert), Speckknödlsuppe und Kaspressknödl. Einzig das Timing in der Küche ist eine totale Katastrophe. Jeder von uns bekam sein Essen allein und hätte auch genug Zeit zum aufessen, bevor der nächste dran kam. Die Hütte war nicht überfüllt und da sollten diese recht einfachen Gerichte schon halbwegs zeitgleich auf den Tisch kommen. Das Birol-Bier ist auch etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig.Trotzdem war alles in allem noch "gut" da das Essen super geschmeckt hat und die Bedienung sehr freundlich war. Timing ist halt auch sehr wichtig, aber das kann man ja hoffentlich lernen bevor die Saison richtig los geht ?. We ate great today. Child schnitzel, Kaiserschmarrn (highly recommended), bacon dumpling soup and Kaspressknödl. Only the timing in the kitchen is a total disaster. Each of us got our food alone and would have enough time to eat before the next one came. The hut was not overcrowded and these fairly simple dishes should be on the table halfway at the same time. The Birol beer is also getting used to. Still, all in all it was "good" as the food tasted great and the service was very friendly. Timing is also very important, but hopefully you can learn that before the season really starts ?.
