An inn couldn't be nicer. Good food and incredibly nice hosts. Good mood is always guaranteed. a place where one likes to go again and again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came from Salzburg by suburban train, S1 line, and walked from Oberndorf station to this Stille Nacht Bezirk along the Salzach river. The train took about 25 minutes and walking 15 minutes. It was really a lovely journey. Then I looked around the Kapelle, entered inside and sat for a long time, watching the altar, stained glasses of Franz Gruber & Joseph Mohr and other exhibitions.
I love the story how the carol "Stille Nacht Heilige Nacht" was written, composed and sung for the first time at the St. Nikolaus Church on Christmas Eve, 1818, and wanted long to come this place, and at last l could come here on Oct. 17, 2016. I really enjoyed the visit and deeply impressed.
