★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Auf der Tauplitz kommt man am Weg zum Almkogel (2116m) am schönen Steirersee vorbei. Der Weg führt hoch über dem See in der sogenannten Steirerseeleiten mit herrlichen Ausblicken am Berghang unter dem auffälligen Berg Sturzhahn entlang. Der Blick geht über den tiefblauen und auf 1445m hoch gelegenen See hinüber auf den 1711m hohen Mitterberg auf der Tauplitz.
On the Tauplitz you pass the beautiful Steirersee on the way to the Almkogel (2116m). The path leads high above the lake in the so-called Steirerseeleiten with wonderful views along the mountainside under the striking mountain Sturzhahn. The view goes over the deep blue lake at an altitude of 1445m to the 1711m high Mitterberg on the Tauplitz.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein wunderschöner Platz um zu entspannen und sich zu erholen. Wir haben den Anblick dieses Sees innerhalb einer Woche bei Sonne und bei Nebel genießen dürfen. Beides wunderschöne Erlebnisse.
A beautiful place to relax and unwind. We were allowed to enjoy the sight of this lake within a week in the sun and in fog. Both wonderful experiences.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr schöne Wanderung und großartiges Panorama. Der Weg ist nicht schwierig, aber stellenweise doch anspruchsvoll. Entsprechendes Schuhwerk ist jedenfalls anzuraten.
Very nice hike and great panorama. The path is not difficult, but sometimes challenging. Appropriate footwear is definitely advisable.
