★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seit einigen Jahren kann man über einen Steg von einem Ende der Staumauer zum anderen Ende spazieren. Durch diesen Weg ist auch endlich per Rad oder zu Fuß das wunderschöne mystische Schloss Ottenstein leichter erreichbar.
 For a number of years it has been possible to walk from one end of the dam to the other over a footbridge. This path finally makes it easier to reach the beautiful, mystical Ottenstein Castle by bike or on foot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein sehr schönes Ausflugsziel im Waldviertel. Man kann den Stausee entlang wandern oder von hier aus einen Abstecher zum Schloss Ottenstein machen. Der Ausblick von oben ins Tal und das an der Basis liegende Kraftwerk ist toll.
A very nice destination in the Waldviertel. You can hike along the reservoir or make a detour to Ottenstein Castle from here. The view from the top into the valley and the power plant at the base is great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein toller Nachmittag, auch für Familien. Es gab eine 90 Minütige Führung durch den ganzen Komplex in welcher man erfährt wie wir zu Strom kommen. Anschließend wurden wir noch verköstigt und konnten uns individuell beraten lassen. Kaffee und Getränke standen auch zur freien Verfügung, das Personal äußerst freundlich und kompetent.
A great afternoon, also for families. There was a 90 minute tour through the whole complex in which you can find out how we get electricity. Then we were fed and could get individual advice. Coffee and drinks were also available, the staff extremely friendly and competent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eine imposante Erscheinung der Ottensteiner Stausee.... Bei schönem Wetter ist es ein tolles Erlebnis. Im Seerestaurant kann man sich Boote ausleihen und im Seerestaurant sehr gut speisen❤️
An impressive appearance of the Ottensteiner Reservoir .... When the weather is nice it is a great experience. In the Seerestaurant one can borrow boats and dine very well in the Seerestaurant
