Ehrlich gesagt eine ziemlich trostlose Gegend - erfüllt aber alle Transdanubien-Klischees. The Viennese city hiking trail no. 10 in the Danube city pampas doesn't really offer much in terms of landscape. To be honest, it's a pretty bleak area - but it fulfills all of the Transdanubian clichés.

Man ist in der Natur und aber auch teilweise im urbanen Wiener Stadrandgebiet unterwegs. Stadtwanderweg 10 is a pleasant, not very strenuous hiking trail on the outskirts of the 22nd district. You are out and about in nature but also partly in the urban outskirts of Vienna.

H	Harald Heinisch on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ich bin diesen Stadtwanderweg 10 heute zum ersten Mal gegangen, weil er erstens bei mir in der Nähe ist und ich heute einfach zu faul zum Wandern war ?. Er ist schön langweilig, das heißt, es geht weder bergauf noch bergab, keine Anstrengung nötig. Dennoch ist er echt sehenswert, denn auch wenn man leider immer wieder daran erinnert wird, sich in Wien zu befinden, ist es dennoch ein tolles Stück Natur! I went this city hiking trail 10 for the first time today, because first of all it is close to me and today I was just too lazy to hike ?. It's nice and boring, that is, it doesn't go up or down, no effort required. E	Elisabeth Winkler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stadtwanderweg 10 gehört bestimmt nicht zu den schönsten Wiener Stadtwanderwegen, aber er hat einen "eigenen Scharm". Ich bin ihn 2021 vier Mal gewandert und immer wieder hat er mich doch begeistert, in dem verbauten Wien, im 22. Bezirk, noch etwas Natur und weitläufige unverbaute Äcker und Wälder mit Teichen zu finden. Vom Friedhof Breitenlee (24A, 85A) geht es Richtung Rautenweg zu den ehemaligen Paxteichen im Norbert-Scheed-Wald. Weiter geht es an der Rückseite der Mülldeponie entlang. Im Areal der Mülldeponie befinden sich die vom Aussterben bedrohten Pinzgauer Bergziegen. Es dauert nicht lange und nach den ersten 4 km kommt man zum Gasthaus Fabelhaft zum Seeblick, das Gasthaus lädt mit seiner köstlichen Wiener Küche zu einem Einkehrschwung ein, mit Blick auf den See. Jetzt geht es beim Rund um Wanderweg zurück am Paischerwasser vorbei, wieder zum Ausgangspunkt. Stadtwanderweg 10 ist einen Besuch wert, ohne Steigung und nur eben dahin, findet man im 22. Bezirk, Landwirtschaft, Nutz- und Wildtiere, sowie Hagebuttensträucher, Äcker, Wälder, Wiesen und Teiche. Ein Stück Natur am Rande einer Großstadt. City hiking trail 10 is definitely not one of the most beautiful Viennese city hiking trails, but it has its "charm of its own". I hiked it four times in 2021 and again and again it impressed me to find still some nature and extensive undeveloped fields and forests with ponds in built-up Vienna, in the 22nd district. From the Breitenlee cemetery (24A, 85A) head towards the Rautenweg to the former Paxteiche in the Norbert-Scheed-Wald. We continue along the back of the landfill. The Pinzgau mountain goats, which are threatened with extinction, are located in the area of the landfill. It doesn't take long and after the first 4 km you come to the Gasthaus Fabelhaft zum Seeblick, which invites you to stop for a break with its delicious Viennese cuisine, with a view of the lake. Now it goes back to the hiking trail around the Paischerwasser, back to the starting point. City hiking trail 10 is worth a visit, without an incline and just there, you will find agriculture, farm animals and wild animals, as well as rose hip bushes, fields, forests, meadows and ponds in the 22nd district. A piece of nature on the edge of a big city.
