M	Maria Hary on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein wunderschöner Stadtwanderweg direkt die Donau entlang....zu Fuß oder mit dem Rad...es gibt auch Essen und Getränke...auch Räder gibt es zum ausleihen...und was ich noch ganz schön finde, es gibt Schiffsverkehr, auch sehr große Schiffe zu sehen....Wasser beruhigt , ich schlage vor, einfach hinkommen und genießen....?‍♀️ A wonderful city hiking trail directly along the Danube ... on foot or by bike ... there is also food and drinks ... there are also bikes to borrow ... and what I think is really nice, there is ship traffic, also to see very large ships .... water calms down, I suggest just come and enjoy .... ?‍♀️

Cool hiking trail with a steep ascent on the Leopolsberg at the beginning. At the end of the Kahlenberg come several Heurige - our favorite of the Wailand!

Very pleasant hiking trail with changing surface from forest paths to paved sidewalks, everything included and possible. Great views and customizable.

Bezirks, und abschliessend durch ruhiges Waldgebiet, führt der Stadtwanderweg 1a einen bis zur Aussichtsterrasse des Kahlenbergs. Die Strecke ist von der Neigung her nicht zu anspruchsvoll, und trotz des schönen Naturpanoramas sogar größtenteils asphaltiert (gerade mal das letzte Stück ist verwurzelt bzw. mit Kies und Erde geebnet). Wenn man mal kurfristig dem Alltag entfliehen, und ein wenig Natur geniessen will (gemütliche 2 Stunden Gehzeit inkl. Pausen) dann ist man hier an der richtigen Adresse. Am Ende des Weges wird man belohnt mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick über Wien, hat die Möglichkeit sich kulinarisch im Restaurant od. beim Würstelstand zu stärken, um danach vorbei an dem Sender und der Kronprinzessin Stefanie Warte den 1,5 Std. Rückweg anzutreten... Der Stadtwanderweg 1a ist ein gemütliche, naturbelassene Ausflugsmöglichkeit für die ganze Familie, und auch für die älteren Mitglieder geeignet, da auf zahlreiche Sitzmöglichkeiten entlang der Strecke geachtet wurde. (Wir haben diese für eine Brettl- Jause zwischendurch genutzt ?) From Nußdorf, along the vineyards of the 19th district, and finally through quiet forest area, the city hiking trail 1a leads to the viewing terrace of the Kahlenberg. The incline of the route is not too demanding and, despite the beautiful natural panorama, it is mostly paved (just the last part is rooted or leveled with gravel and earth). If you want to escape everyday life for a short time and enjoy a little nature (comfortable 2 hours walking time including breaks) then this is the right address. At the end of the way you will be rewarded with a wonderful view over Vienna, you have the opportunity to strengthen yourself with culinary delights in the restaurant or at the sausage stand, and then past the transmitter and the Crown Princess Stefanie Warte to start the 1.5 hour return journey ... The city hiking trail 1a is a leisurely, natural excursion option for the whole family, and also suitable for older members, as there are numerous seating options along the route. (We used this for a snack between meals ?)
