I	Irene Reichl on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 239 Stufen die sich lohnen. Im Inneren des Turmes begleiten den Besucher Informationen und Gedanken zum Jakobsweg. Man bestaunt die riesigen Kirchenglocken, passiert zum Schluss eine atemberaubende Wendeltreppe um schließlich in die ehemalige Wohnung des Turmwartes zu kommen. von hier gelangt man auf eine Plattform und kann einen wunderbaren Ausblick auf die Stadt genießen. Der Aufstieg lohnt sich auf jeden Fall 239 steps worth it. Inside the tower, visitors are accompanied by information and thoughts about the Way of St. James. You marvel at the huge church bells, and finally you pass a breathtaking spiral staircase to finally reach the former apartment of the tower warden. from here you can access a platform and enjoy a wonderful view of the city. The climb is definitely worth it

Wonderful church and I decided not to take inside photos as it is really worth a visit. In this period the bell tower is fantastic.
J	Jul on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Aufstieg ist zwar lang und anstrengend aber dafür wird man mit einer tollen Aussicht über die Stadt und Umgebung belohnt. Der Turm ist bis 18.00 Uhr geöffnet (im Juli und August, in den anderen Monaten nur bis 16.30 Uhr) und kostet 2,50€. Auf den verschiednen Ebenen gibt es auch noch eine tolle Ausstellung für die wir leider keine Zeit mehr hatten. Nur Vorsicht, man sollte nicht auf der Glockenebene sein wenn sie läuten, weil es wirklich sehr laut ist. The ascent is long and strenuous, but you will be rewarded with a great view of the city and the surrounding area. The tower is open until 6 p.m. (in July and August, in the other months only until 4.30 p.m.) and costs € 2.50. On the different levels there is also a great exhibition for which we unfortunately didn't have time. Just be careful, you shouldn't be at the bell level when they ring because it is really loud.

Very nice view and free with the Kärnten Card. The steps up are not that bad and the bells can also be admired. Impressive.

Es ist der höchste Kirchturm in Kärnten und Aussichtspunkt in der Stadt Bilder. In Summe führen 239 Stufen nach oben. Mehrere Etagen stehen für Pausen oder mit Informationen zur Verfügung. Bei schönem Wetter bzw. guter Aussicht auf jedenfall einen Besuch wert ?? Beautiful church tower, which can be visited for free with the Kärnten Card. Alternatively, entry costs just € 2.50. It is the highest church tower in Carinthia and a lookout point in the city of Bilder. A total of 239 steps lead upwards. Several floors are available for breaks or for information. If the weather is nice or the view is good, it is definitely worth a visit ??
