Best Train station in austria

F	Fabio Peters on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Bahnhof ist meist sauber, der Ticketschalter ist mit freundlichem Personal besetzt und es gibt zumindest eine Trafik und ein Kebap/Pizzastandl. Der Park and Ride am hinteren Ende des Bahnhofs lädt dazu ein, auch mal sein Auto gegen einen Zug zu tauschen. Alles ok. Nur außergewöhnlich ist der Bahnhof nicht. The train station is mostly clean, the ticket counter is staffed by friendly staff and there is at least a tobacco shop and a kebab / pizza stand. The park and ride at the end of the station invites you to swap your car for a train. Everything OK. The train station is not exceptional.

Auch gibt es noch einen Fahrkartenschalter und eine Bücherbörse. A train station is very centrally located and has a nice P + R area, where you always get a free space. There is also a ticket office and a book exchange.

Die Empfangshalle ist modern gestaltet und mittlerweile mit neuen, digitalen Anzeigen ausgestattet. Es gibt Railjet-Verbindungen in Richtung Westen nach Salzburg Hbf (über Linz Hbf, Wels Hbf, Attnang-Puchheim, Vöcklabruck und Neumarkt-Köstendorf), sowie nach Klagenfurt Hbf (über o.g. + u.a. Golling-Abtenau, Bad Gastein, Mallnitz-Obervellach, Spittal/Millstättersee, Villach Hbf, Velden/Wörthersee und Pörtschach/Wörthersee). In östliche Richtung gibt es Railjet-Verbindungen nach Wien Hbf (bzw. weiter nach Flughafen Wien über Amstetten, St. Pöten Hbf, Tullnerfeld und Wien Meidling). Mit den Regionalzügen kommt man nach Steyr (bzw. weiter nach Garsten), nach Linz Hbf, nach St. Nikola-Struden (bzw. weiter nach Sarmingstein), oder nach Amstetten. The platforms are clean and accessible! There are toilets, which are in good condition! The lobby has a modern design and is now equipped with new, digital displays. There are railjet connections to the west to Salzburg Hbf (via Linz Hbf, Wels Hbf, Attnang-Puchheim, Vöcklabruck and Neumarkt-Köstendorf), as well as to Klagenfurt Hbf (via og + ao Golling-Abtenau, Bad Gastein, Mallnitz-Obervellach, Spittal / Millstättersee, Villach Hbf, Velden / Wörthersee and Pörtschach / Wörthersee). To the east there are Railjet connections to Vienna Hbf (or further to Vienna Airport via Amstetten, St. Pöten Hbf, Tullnerfeld and Wien Meidling). Ich musste nachträglich mit dem Handynavi vom Bahnhofsgebäude zur Parkanlage navigieren, das hat mir meinen Zug gekostet. The station itself is okay, but unfortunately the Park & Ride facility is not well signposted. I had to use my mobile phone to navigate from the station building to the park, which cost me my train.
