M	Matthias Pittrich on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Spuds ist einfach genial. Das Essen schmeckt super gut und wird aus lokalen Zutaten hergestellt. Aufgrund der täglich wechselnden Specials wird es auch für Stammkunden nie langweilig. Neben dem Hauptgerichten, die immer auf einer Ofenkartoffel mit verschiedenen Toppings basieren, gibt es noch eine schöne Auswahl an Beilagen, Kuchen, Teigtaschen und Getränken. Als Bayer hat es mich besonders gefreut, dass es dort bayrisches Bio-Bier gibt. Insgesamt ein sehr gelungenes Konzept, das mit viel Liebe und Verstand umgesetzt wurde. Der Inhaber (David) und sein Kollege (Roshan) sind immer gut gelaunt, sehr freundlich und mit viel Freude bei der Sache. Wichtig zu erwähnen ist noch, dass das Spuds ein Selbstbedienungs-Restaurant ist. The Spuds is just awesome. The food tastes great and is made from local ingredients. Thanks to the specials that change every day, it never gets boring, even for regular customers. In addition to the main courses, which are always based on a baked potato with various toppings, there is also a nice selection of side dishes, cakes, dumplings and drinks. As a Bavarian, I was particularly pleased that they had Bavarian organic beer there. Overall, a very successful concept that was implemented with a lot of love and understanding. The owner (David) and his colleague (Roshan) are always in a good mood, very friendly and enjoy the job. It is also important to mention that Spuds is a self-service restaurant.

Alles ist selbstgemacht und mit viel Liebe, Leidenschaft und Kreativität zubereitet. Der perfekte Ort für einen Stopp zum Mittagessen. Einfach super ! Super cool slow / fast food store and incredibly friendly owner. The dishes are simple but really good and very inexpensive. Everything is homemade and prepared with a lot of love, passion and creativity. The perfect place to stop for lunch. Just great!

I love the potatoes here! The combinations and the colorful variations of the ingredients make it a particularly delicious place! The staff is great ???

Wir waren in kurzer Zeit einige Male im Spuds und jedes Mal hat David es geschafft, uns mit seinen Kartoffelgerichten zu überraschen. Die Gerichte sind besonders und immer gut abgeschmeckt. David ist zudem sehr um seine Kunden bemüht und kommt immer persönlich zum Tisch, um seine Gerichte und Tagesspecials zu erklären. Neben den Kartoffeln lieben wir seinen Cheesecake — wer also auch Süßes gern hat, ist im Spuds absolut richtig. Die Musik ist gut ausgewählt und passt wunderbar zum Charakter des Restaurants. Es herrscht eine lockere und freundliche Atmosphäre. Wir gehen daher gerne wieder und regelmäßig hin! ❤️ Great, unique restaurant! We have been to Spuds a number of times in a short space of time and each time David has managed to surprise us with his potato dishes. The dishes are special and always taste good. David is also very concerned about his customers and always comes to the table personally to explain his dishes and daily specials. Besides the potatoes, we love his cheesecake — so if you also like sweets, Spuds is the place for you. The music is well chosen and fits the character of the restaurant beautifully. There is a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We therefore like to go back and regularly! ❤️

Die Qualität der verwendeten Lebensmittel überzeugt ebenso, wie das mutige, würzige Abschmecken des Kochs, bis jetzt war jedes Essen eine positive Überraschung, die überzeugt. Vegetarische Speisekarte + Specials, bei denen Fleisch in keiner Weise vermisst wird. Preis-Leistung ist völlig ok. Der Inhaber David ist engagiert, bemüht und sehr humorvoll, man fühlt sich wohl und geht glücklich-zufrieden nach Hause. Herz, was willst Du mehr? ;-) We have been to Sputs a few times now and are very impressed. The quality of the food used is just as convincing as the bold, spicy taste of the chef, so far every meal has been a positive surprise that is convincing. Vegetarian menu + specials where meat is not missed in any way. Value for money is completely ok. The owner David is committed, hard-working and very humorous, you feel comfortable and go home happy and satisfied. Heart, what do you want more? ;-)

A	Andrew Nash on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spuds is a wonderful restaurant serving delicious and creative (slow) fast food. It's essentially different toppings on baked potatoes - the toppings we tried cheese-slaw, and the special of the day with squash, tomato pesto and sage were excellent: interesting and very flavorful. The staff were very friendly, taking time to explain how the toppings were cooked, where they get their ingredients (mostly from local farmers) and making pleasant conversation. They have excellent organic beer from the Schlossbrauerei Stein in Bavaria, and a wonderful guest garden in front of the restaurant to enjoy a potato and beer in the sunshine. This area of Hohenems includes several interesting museums and is being made more pedestrian friendly. New shops and restaurants - like Spuds! - are opening in a very nice historic center with several old hotels/cafes and a large open park in front of the old castle. It's a very nice place to spend a few hours on a visit to Vorarlberg (and a short walk from the railway station).
