Vom See aus hat man einen fantastischen Ausblick. Der Weg lohnt sich. Artificially created storage lake for the snow-making facilities of the slopes. There is a small circular path with dwellings around the lake. From the lake you have a fantastic view. The way is worth it.

Von der Mittelstation des Lifts Hohe Salve ist der See nach einer schönen 2,5km Wanderung mit 200HM in ca. 45 Minuten zu erreichen. Am See selbst gibt es viele schöne Sitzmöglichkeiten und auch oberhalb ein kleines Kiosk für Getränke und so. Der See ist somit perfekt zum Beispiel für einen Ausflug am Vormittag von Hopfgarten aus. Beautiful mountain lake with a great view of the Brixental. From the middle station of the Hohe Salve lift, the lake can be reached in about 45 minutes after a beautiful 2.5km hike at 200m altitude. At the lake itself there are lots of nice seating and also above a small kiosk for drinks and such. The lake is therefore perfect, for example, for a morning excursion from Hopfgarten.

Aber jeder Meter ist lohnenswert Fantastic hike. A little fitness is definitely required when walking from the middle station to the reservoir. But every meter is worth it

Fantastic view. Great seating and swing opportunities. Easily accessible via the hiking trails. There is also a hut.
