Das Essen ist einmalig gut, vor allem der Palatschinken, der Beilagensalat mit dem außergewöhnlich gutem Apfeldressing, der Jagertee nach einer gemütlichen Runde um den Spechtensee und die selbstgemachten Mehlspeisen! Very friendly and cordial service. The food is uniquely good, especially the pancakes, the side salad with the exceptionally good apple dressing, the Jagertee after a leisurely round around the Spechtensee and the homemade pastries!

Mit den freundlichen Witsleuten plaudern, oder einfach nur die herrliche Natur genießen. Es lohnt sich diesen Ort zu besuchen. After a circular hike around the lake, which is beautifully located in the middle of the mountains, enjoy a good meal or a cool drink. Chat with the friendly Wits people, or just enjoy the wonderful nature. Well worth visiting this place.

Und es zahlt sich aus, vor der Wanderung dem Hüttenwirt guten Tag zu sagen, er hat immer wertvolle Tipps. A rustic hut with good food, excellent homemade cakes, all lovingly prepared. And it pays off to say hello to the innkeeper before the hike, he always has valuable tips.

Big portions; clean area; nice toilets; friendly staff; lovely terrace with amazing local pies and soups / food. Waiting time was a bit long today, but hey I have “urlaub” ;-) Will come back for sure! Tschuss!
