M	Martin Schönherr (Martin vg Paschberg) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Urige Hütte am Rande eines verwunschenen Waldes. Gut Schmankerln zum Essen (Verhackerts, Steirerkas - Brote). Für nicht grimmingtaugliche (wie mich) gibt es als Trost die Besteigung des Tressensteins - lt. Wegweiser in 1h ab Hütte....aber man schaffts auch in 30 Minuten. Nett zu kombinieren mit einem Besuch von Schloss Trautson. Ps. Für Grimmingbesteiger: an Wochenenden kann man lt Wirt dort nächtigen. Quaint hut on the edge of an enchanted forest. Good delicacies to eat (minced meats, Steirerkas - breads). For those who are not griming (like me) there is consolation to climb the Tressenstein - according to the signpost in 1 hour from the hut ... but you can do it in 30 minutes. Nice to combine with a visit to Trautson Castle. Ps. For Grimming climbers: According to the landlord, you can stay there on weekends.

F	Freitag Nachmittag on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr schöne und gemütliche Hütte mit wunderbarer Terrasse am Fuße des mächtigen Grimmings ca. 1 Gehstunde vom Schloss Trauntenfels entfernt. Die Hüttenwirte sind ausgesprochen gastfreundlich und nett. Die Aussichtsterrasse lädt auf eine gemütliche Rast ein und auch das Schlaflager ist super gemütlich. Einfach eine tolle Hütte mit super Bewirtschaftung! Very nice and cozy hut with a wonderful terrace at the foot of the mighty Grimmings approx. 1 hour's walk from Trauntenfels Castle. The hut keepers are extremely hospitable and friendly. The viewing terrace invites you to take a leisurely rest and the sleeping area is also super cozy. Simply a great hut with great management!
S	Sabine on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kleine liebevolle Hütte mit netten Betreibern. Es gibt Platz für 20 Personen in den Zimmern. Sogar eine Dusche ist vorhanden. Das Essen war gut und hüttenmäßig urig. Im Garten hat man einen fantastischen Ausblick und in der Stube kann man gemütlich den Abend ausklingen lassen. Small loving cabin with nice operators. There is space for 20 people in the rooms. Even a shower is available. The food was good and hut rustic. In the garden you have a fantastic view and in the room you can comfortably end the evening.

Preis /Leistung passt! Small hut with friendly and fast service in a dreamlike environment with a wonderful view of the Ennstal! The dishes on offer taste very good! Price / performance fits!
