M	Michael Seidel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Haben wir per Zufall entdeckt und meine Tochter hat gleich mitgemacht. Das ne super Sache für die Kinder, macht denen unheimlich Spass. Tolle Organisationen. Waren leider nur am Kids Tag da, kann daher das Erwachsenen Rennen nicht beurteilen. We discovered it by chance and my daughter took part right away. This is a great thing for the children and is a lot of fun for them. Great organizations. Unfortunately we were only there on kids day, so we cannot judge the adult race.
K	Krav Raphi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ich war nun schon das zweite Mal in Oberndorf. Letztes Jahr war es sehr heiss und trocken, dieses Jahr sehr kalt und feucht. Der Event war sehr gut organisiert. Die Duschen und auch das "nicht" beheizte Festzelt sind o.k., das ist halt SPARTAN RACE. Da gibt es keine Duschen :-). Also die Organisation, die Strecke und praktisch alle Hindernisse waren super überlegt und platziert worden. Die Strecke ist sehr hart, vor allem wenn man den TRIFECTA macht. Dass der Event LIVE auf Facebook übertragen wird ist ebenfalls super und passiert in einer hervorragenden Qualität trotz des wahrscheinlich "LowBudget" mit dem die auskommen müssen. SEHR GUT! Es gibt trotzdem ein zwei Dinge, die verbessert werden müssen. Auch in Hinblick darauf, dass nächstes Jahr Oberndorf der Austragungsort der Europameisterschaft im Spartan Race ist. 1. Der Übergang bei km 7 war eine Katastrophe! Dort war zeitweise ein Stau von bis zu 15min. Das "Gestell" hat gezittert, da einige Teilnehmer mit Schüttelfrost zu kämpfen hatten. (Beim Sandbag war dieses Jahr kein Stau! Gut gelernt von 2018 ;-)) 2. Das Speerwurf Hinderniss ganz zuoberst war in sehr schlechtem Zustand.....und ich selber bin in der Age Group gestartet.... Volunteers und Racer waren alle frustriert dort...Seile zu Kurz...Strohballen kaputt....! Bitte ändern (aber den Twister will ich nicht zurück auf der Spitze...haha) 3. In der open Kategorie wurden selten genügend Burpees gemacht! Bitte besser kontrollieren! Das ist frustrierend, wenn man 30 Burpees macht und andere nur 5 oder 10.... in den östlichen Ländern wird da viel genauer und strenger hingeschaut! Und hey...wenn man es nicht kann soll man keinen Beast machen...dann kann man ja auf Super oder Sprint ausweichen....easy! 4. Der Sprecher hat immer wieder betont, dass Oberndorf der extremste Spartanrace mit den meisten Höhenmetern ist. Das stimmt doch gar nicht. Andorra und die Dolomiten haben sicherlich mehr Höhenmeter und Morzine ist etwas gleich! Ich freue mich auf nächtes Jahr! This is the second time I've been to Oberndorf. Last year it was very hot and dry, this year it was very cold and humid. The event was very well organized. The showers and the "not" heated marquee are ok, that's SPARTAN RACE. There are no showers :-). So the organization, the route and practically all the obstacles were well thought out and placed. The track is very tough, especially when you do the TRIFECTA. The fact that the event is broadcast LIVE on Facebook is also great and happens in an excellent quality despite the probably "low budget" with which they have to get along. VERY WELL! Still, there are two things that need improvement. Also with a view to the fact that next year Oberndorf will be the venue for the European championship in the Spartan Race. 1. The crossing at km 7 was a disaster! At times there was a traffic jam of up to 15 minutes. The "frame" trembled as some participants struggled with chills. (There was no traffic jam at the sandbag this year! Well learned from 2018 ;-)) 2. The javelin throwing obstacle at the very top was in very bad condition ..... and I myself started in the Age Group .... Volunteers and racers were all frustrated there ... ropes too short ... straw bales broken .. ..! Please change (but I don't want the twister back on top ... haha) 3. Seldom enough burpees were done in the open category! Please check better! It's frustrating when you do 30 burpees and others only do 5 or 10 ... in the eastern countries they look much more closely and strictly! And hey ... if you can't do it you shouldn't make a beast ... then you can switch to super or sprint .... easy! 4. The speaker has repeatedly emphasized that Oberndorf is the most extreme Spartan race with the most meters in altitude. That's not true. Andorra and the Dolomites certainly have more vertical meters and Morzine is something the same! I'm looking forward to next year!
