★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In pienissimo centro, a ridosso della Neuer Platz, sorge il monumento dedicato a Bernhard von Spanheim, il quale fondò la città nel XIII secolo…si tratta di una fontana sormontata da una statua.
Francamente tra bei palazzi e biciclette, insolitamente negligenti appoggiate sul bordo della fontana, il monumento è poco valorizzato, forse si nota poco ed è meno famoso.
Ed anche perché non distanti si trovano altre e ben più visibili attrazioni, come il buffo gnomo (Wörthersee Mandl) le statue della Neuersplatz (la fontana del Lindwurmbrunnen su tutte) ed i signorili e colorati edifici della Neuer ed Alter Platz.
In the very center, near the Neuer Platz, stands the monument dedicated to Bernhard von Spanheim, who founded the city in the 13th century ... it is a fountain surmounted by a statue.
Frankly, among the beautiful buildings and bicycles, unusually negligent resting on the edge of the fountain, the monument is little appreciated, perhaps little is known and is less famous.
And also because not far away there are other and much more visible attractions, such as the funny gnome (Wörthersee Mandl) the statues of the Neuersplatz (the Lindwurmbrunnen fountain above all) and the stately and colorful buildings of Neuer and Alter Platz.
