★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr gutes und reichliches Essen. Sehr gute Weine. Freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung. Zimmer etwas alt aber zum nächtigen reicht es. Frühstück sehr gut. Alles in allem Top.
 Very good and plentiful food. Very good wines. Friendly and attentive service. Room a bit old but enough to spend the night. Breakfast very good. All in all great.

Your hosts, the Bierbaum family, run this small but fine hotel in Schattendorf. Junior Sascha a gifted cook and head chef, Hans, the chef a proven wine enthusiast. Clean, family-run house, quiet location. Also recommended for group trips.
