We booked a course for absolute beginners. Our children are 6 years old and have never been on skis. Already on the first day they skied small slopes with their group. Today on day 4 already the normal slope. Kudos to RIC the ski instructor. Great! All children are treated and respected.

Afgelopen week skiles gehad van Ronald in Serfaus. Super fijn om een Nederlandse leraar te hebben. Samen met 3 vriendinnen hebben we onwijs veel geleerd en hebben we hele leuke dagen gehad. Dankzij Ronald onze angsten overwonnen. Aanrader!!
Last week I had ski lessons from Ronald in Serfaus. Very nice to have a Dutch teacher. Together with 3 friends we learned a lot and we had very nice days. Thanks to Ronald we conquered our fears. Recommended!!

Vielen Dank nochmal!
I had booked a private course and can absolutely recommend it! I was allowed to set the pace at any time, and by that I don't just mean the driving speed. ;) It was my first time on skis and I can't wait to deepen what I've learned. Of course, first of all again via a course. Above all, the communication before the course, the arrangements with the office were super uncomplicated, very accommodating and flexible! Incidentally, I was able to get an insight into the ski school of the little ones - I was so impressed that I'll take my child with me next time! Thank you again!

As other 1- star review mentioned we also has sad experience with the kid's group in Murmlipark. We expected to leave our 3 yo daughter for almost all time (2 weeks) but ended up skiing with her all the time. Very few instructors for the amount of kids who are total beginners (7 kids for 1 adult). And after sekond training I realised that instructor kept calling my kids different name. And yes it all looked very chaotic and not friendly.

The instructors are amazing. Very patient, enthusiastic and skilled. They will encourage your kids to advance their skills while having lots of fun. Group sizes can very between a few up to ten kids per instructor. One piece of advice is to be very clear up front what skill level is your children. Detail how good they are at various technical skills and what type of runs they have done before in various conditions. Otherwise they might end up in an unsuitable group that won't make them happy. Be honest!

Skischule Serfaus - worst benchmark ranking compared to other ski schools experienced! Our two boys were all excited to join ski school again and further brush up their techniques and to meet up with other kids for a full day in the mountains. The default experience of picking up your kids from class at the end of the day, has always been two very smiling boys, with a fantastic day skiing with other kids, learning new things, excellent lunch, 'coffee break' (hot chocolate or similar) and other creative activities conducted. Instead I was greeting by two boys in tears and with an anger built up inside, never observed before, which really took me by surprise. Upon signing up with Skischule Serfaus / SS, I made it abundantly clear, that we required an English Instructor, as our boys are yet to start on German in school. I was assured by the SS Representative at the hotel, it would not be an issue and equally confirmed by the Lead Instructor at the meeting point (in the mountains). The other and just as important a requirement was to get them assigned to their level of skiing and based on the K1-8 tier levels, the Lead Instructor and I agreed K3 was the right level for them. The boys were allocated to their instructor and team, which turned out to be everything than what was the understanding and agreement. The Instructor conducted the class in German 80% of the time, which led our boys to be quite clueless most of the time, about what was going on. This also included certain activities, which was discussed and voted on, where our boys was totally in the dark. Upon picking up of the boys, the Instructor excused the poor skiing school experience by the more important task to follow a certain program for the other students, which apparently had a Monday to Friday program to complete at K2 level. In other words our boys were just 'excess students' to follow an established team, with little to no chance to be properly set-up and integrated with a maximum learning experience as per benchmark from other ski schools. Skischule Serfaus is the only school which we have come across, which only start their classes at 10:30 hours, as everywhere else it is at 8:30 / 9:00 o'clock. With the already limited time allocated, it was even more frustrating to learn, that during the ski class attended by our boys, time was spent by the Instructor to pick-up / drop off stuff as well as time taken to change skis during the session (never happened before with other ski schools). In conclusion I believe Skischule Serfaus could need an overhaul, with a lot more focus on the kids experience (this is your customers, not the parents!!!) as the standard face expression upon picking up your kids, should be nothing but a smiling / laughing face! Might actually be in everyone's interest if another ski school would open up and set a new bar / standard, as what our boys just went through, should never have happened, as you would expect a more professional approach from Skischule Serfaus! UPDATE: I went to Skischule Serfaus and shared above disappointment with the colleagues in the office. As a gesture they refunded one of the boy's fee, but I would rather have paid in full or even more for a great ski school experience. I also enquired about the reason for starting the ski school so late in the morning and was informed, that this was mainly because of the Dutch visitors, who preferred a later start.......but was not given a deeper reasoning. This is where Skischule Serfaus differentiate themselves in a negative trend compared to ski schools in Niseko, Japan, Whistler, BC, Canada and Lake Tahoe, CA, USA, where the other ski schools have learned to offer a full day experience in the mountains, starting at 8:30/9:00 hours and until 15:30/16:00 hours, including morning and afternoon break besides lunch, and with other play activities included, which all in all provides a fun filled day for the kids at ski school, making them want to come back for another lesson. Digital enhancements such as GPS and electronic reporting card is also non existing!

As a beginner on skies I followed classes here together with my friend. Our teacher Tessa was the most amazing, funny and patient teacher we could wish for! Tessa speaks multiple languages, so her lessons were easy to follow for everyone in our group. She also paid lots of attention to detail and she exactly knew what our individual points of improvement were. Thanks Tessa for teaching me the first basics and giving me the confidence to do the slopes all by myself ?
