★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been twice and found the service good on both occasions. Little English is spoken but that certainly wasn't a problem - try a little German! Coffee and cake is good, traditional apfelstrudel a good choice, and the burger was very good indeed. If you don't feel up to conquering the real Glossglockner, try the burger version! Obviously freshly prepared and very tasty. Great setting, and there's no feeling of being rushed. Nice place.

The hanging bridge isn't accessible via town, only through a difficult hike in the mountain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heiligenblut is a quaint lovely town in Kärnten, which is worth visiting both in summer and winter. I've been there twice and loved it every time! Summer allows for a drive along the panoramic road to Großglockner, while Winter ist fantastic for all snow-related activities (skiing, snowboarding, Eisstockschießen, hiking, ice climbing etc). Last time I visited it with a group of 17+ guests, and we're returning there in 2019 for more skiing!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful views, no crowds, well-prepared ski runs, low prices. The best place for skiing and relaxing. I was here for the second time and I will definitely came back again.
