Well designed double cable design. Perfect summer ride.

We stayed at Ischgl for a week with friends. We were a group of mixed snowboarders and skiers. The resort has excellent facilities with very new and high-tech lifts and information boards. Not in one moment did we fill lost or unsafe. The Ischgl team does a great job at keeping the resort safe from snow avalanches by preemptively blowing up snow through multiple means, including charge drops from a helicopter or fixed air-pressure cannons. We didn't mind when the resort closed entirely for a day for our safety, it was the right call as the weather was severe (it dropped more than a meter of snow within a day - happy days followed). The linkage with Samnaun, the Swiss village is simply fantastic, we did all the smugglers routes and I highly recommend them. The quality of the snow is better at the Swiss side as it is facing south and it's not exposed to freezing northern winds. So take the B2 lift from Idalp to Viderjoch and go downhill from there to use the N and M lifts (N1, N2 .. N6, M1, M2). That's where we found the best quality of snow. The village itself is like it comes out of a fairy tale, majestic and dreammy. Shopping is very good, I was able to find a very big size snowboard boot to buy, which I had been challenged within other resorts. I also used the community SPA, which has a huge pool and very big SPA facilities with sauna sessions going on every hour where you get whipped hot air with a towel. I found it highly relaxing and rejuvenating and helped me get the tension off my muchles after a full-day's snowboarding. My only remark was that all of the resort's facilities do not accept debit or credit cards and most of the shops or dinners will have weird rules like you have to have 50€ or above to be able to use a card. I find this not belonging to such a luxurious and high-end resort, it errodes the customer trust as it allows for dangerous behaviors. I would definitely go again and recommend it to friends.

One of the best resort of the region: size, price, quality,service. The service is at the highest level everywhere: hotels, stores, restaurants, on the resort.. the lifts are very confortable and efficient.. we have never waited for more than 5 minutes! The tracks are long and very well prepared, in the resort 80% of the lifts are chairs or funicular.. people are very helpful and supportive for any needs you may have. This is one of the best place for skying and for resting for young, older, single, couples and for families too. You have so many options for activities outside of skiing including parties. You can never be bored! I highly recommend Indicative price 135 euros for 3 days. Full resort with the possibility to have 5 euros back while recycling the pass at the end of the journey

Great lift with great capacity - so even if there is a queue it's quickly your turn for a ride. The cabins are rather spacious and airy. You can "survive" the heat of the summer, there are two small size windows on the front and back sides of the cabins. In the Middle Station you can get in and out.

Stayed with my family in Paznaun Valley for a week and skied in Kappl. Experience a great service and hospitality in Kappl. Went for one day to Ischgl and experienced somehow the opposite. Where welcomed by the cashier stuff and had to prove that the kids are the age they are. 2, 4, 6 and 8 as stated also with the exact date on the guest card. Had to go the car to get the IDs. Than, the stuff at the gondola did not help and even tried to take care of the family trying to enter the Gondola with four little kids this equipment etc. Ischgl seams not to care for future customers - young families. Very save and taking very high to the mountains. At the top there are peaks between 2700-2900m. Most routes for kids, top of peaks very rocky (good for climbers with equipment)

Modern cable car. Good views (weather permitting) across the valley. Skis hang from roof rather than outside rack. It has a middle station if you only want to ski half way down.

Good ski resort, we had a lot of fun there. We systematically had a large queue in the valley in the morning though, as the resort has very few entry points for its size.
