Süden(Südost-Südwest) sieht man den Dachstein die Osterhorngruppe und viele weitere Berge.
From the Schober you have a wonderful view of Thalgau, Lake Fuschel and everything around. In the direction
South (southeast-southwest) you can see the Dachstein, the Osterhorn group and many other mountains.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schönen Bergwanderung für geübte. Würde empfehlen dass man die Route zuerst auf den Schobert macht und den Abstieg über den Frauenkopf wählt. Der Abstieg ist angenehmere und nicht so beschwerlich.
Nice mountain hike for experienced. Would recommend that you first make the route to the Schobert and choose the descent via the Frauenkopf. The descent is more pleasant and not so difficult.

An exhausting way to the top in ice and snow. The crampons went very well. Arrived at the top and enjoy the view as a reward

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Über die Schoberseite find ich den Aufstieg am schönsten, dieser ist auch von Kindern mit 7 Jahren wenn diese Trittsicher sind gut zu schaffen.
Top Aussicht, leider teilweise sehr überlaufen.
I find the ascent via the top side the most beautiful, this can also be done by children with 7 years if they are sure-footed.
Great view, unfortunately sometimes very crowded.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ich liebe die Aussicht hier. Aber mittlerweile ist es definitiv kein Berg für Anfänger mehr. Der Abstieg ist relativ rutschig und durch die Massen an Menschen die täglich rauf und runter gehen wird das auch nicht besser.
I love the view here. But now it is definitely no longer a mountain for beginners. The descent is relatively slippery and it doesn't get any better because of the crowds of people who go up and down every day.
