★ ★ ★ ★ ★ By far the BEST guest house we have stayed in. SUPERB in all areas from rooms, to cleanliness, to amazing food, to service with a smile. Simone is just AWESOME; the friendliest, most hardworking person you'll ever meet. Whenever we're back in Tirol, Schmaltzerhof will be our 'home away from home' :-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here for lunch after a very disappointing stay at our hotel that also had great reviews. This restaurant was absolutely amazing! Such great child care - they immediately supplied our 2 year old with crayons, books, puzzles. All the waitresses had a smile on their face and were Absolutely patient and great! And the food was typical Austrian with a high and fresh quality. This was such a pleasant surprise and contrast to our hotel which also was supposed to be a family hotel with good food but it didn't compare to this restaurant in on bit. If we'll be back one day we will definitely come back here for a great Schnitzel! Thank you

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very nice place! We are even now here - the room is spacious and super clean. (I think there are around 25 rooms, not too big but also not small- just perfect) The food in the restaurant is DELICIOUS and varies every day! Also the staff is very understanding and friendly, offers different options and cares about the guests with food allergies (in my case gluten). With my family we feel really welcome and we will definitely visit again.

Food was extraordinary ? we had two starters and main to share. Grilled goat cheese and salmon tartar as starters and then salmon & shrimp main, served on a pumpkin risotto. Absolutely beautiful. Would highly recommend, nicely done! Interior is very traditional looking Austrian, its such a little gem in Weer ?
