Dangerous and incompetent Ski school! Never ever again! I was in on beginners course with a couple of Germany. Lucky me that I'm speaking English - we got a trainer that spoke English only... Unfortunately all of the Germans didnt spoke at all. Therefore I tried to translate everything the trainer said. Annoying for me and a real pity for them and sometimes it even got dangerous because they didnt understand what to do. On top of that an english speaking woman broke/twisted her knee on the third day... Of course, all course participants had to wait for her to get taken care of.... But the school had no interest to prolong the course any minute... Even so that we we're waiting for almost an hour...

The school does not have a good organisation. On our first day, we went to the meeting point but had no clue with whom to talk or what to do next, then we got a group which had like 8 people. On the next day the group became much smaller and they wanted to cancel it (they didn't cancel though). The desk staffs are not particularly friendly either. To be fair, one of them was nice though. There is no toilet for skiers or visitors. We had to use one in a ski shop. I find 30€ expensive for this small skipiste. The good thing was my ski instructor. He was attentive and patient with us.

This is the WORST ski school ever!!! Do not waste your time and money with this company. If I could give them zero stars, I would. My kids and I and all of the other kids and parents waited over an hour outside standing in -10 Celsius while ONE teacher assessed and sorted at least 75 kids into groups. Most disorganized operation ever. My six year old was put in a group with 19 kids and my 10 year old was with 15 kids! The company doesn’t provide ski school vests so your kid could easily be lost. I had to instruct my kids to stay with their teachers at all times. When I asked if they’d get more teachers the next day, they said they didn’t know. They said they were having a hard time hiring enough teachers and that more people than expected were taking private lessons and the Dutch schools were on holiday. After years of running a ski school, how do you assess your staffing needs so poorly? Why would you let people register for private lessons if you don’t have enough teachers to teach ski school? The Dutch school holiday schedule is available at least one year in advance. Why would you not plan for this and act like it was some sort of surprise? No wonder they can’t find teachers. They are a terribly run company. What a wasted day! My kids said they were bored and learned nothing new. We thought they would ski at Rosshutte, but they kept the kids at the little Birkenlift and said they’d be there again the next day. The front desk staff is incredibly rude and unhelpful. They only gave me a partial refund for my kids’ remaining 4 days of ski school because they charged me the one day ski school price which was €69 per kid instead of the prorated amount for one day of a five day lesson which was €35. Then they said I should be happy that I was getting any refund and claimed that no one else was complaining when clearly other reviews show that other people also had the same terrible experience with Skischool Seefeld as we had, and other parents I spoke with were also very unhappy. These guys prey on unsuspecting parents who don’t have prior experience with ski school, but I do and I’ve never experienced such a terrible, disorganized, rude ski school. All they care about is making as much money as possible by overfilling their ski school classes and providing as many private lessons as possible instead and keeping the kids at the little ski area where they can keep track of so many kids without vests even though parents pay €25 per day for lift tickets to the big ski area. So inconsiderate and selfish considering many people are only able to ski once a year. If you want to register your kids for ski school in Seefeld, register with Sport Aktiv instead. They are organized and well run and polite, and my kids had a blast and improved their skiing immensely there last year. The only reason we tried Skischool Seefeld this year was because we thought the kids would ski Rosshutte. What a mistake to try them. We’ve now registered for Sport Aktiv for our remaining four days so hopefully we can salvage the rest of our holiday. I think all of these 5 star reviews with no text are bogus and should be removed! Marieke van der Born left a 5-star review for Skischule Seefeld and is one of the supervisor instructors for the group. It’s a huge conflict of interest and totally dishonest to fool unsuspecting parents with 5-star reviews from your own staff!

We've had very good experiences with both kids' ski school and private lessons. My daughter was taught to ski here 3 years ago (age 5) by Sabine and Hayley in the mornings-only classes for the littlest. Fantastic, encouraging and tireless teaching! After missing out last year because we left it too late to book spaces, both my daughter (now 7) and son (12) were booked in for the full week, full day (inc lunch) school this year. First morning is a little chaotic with assessing the kids, but we just chilled and let the staff get on with it. Parents not listening to instructions and not letting the staff get on with assessment was the biggest cause of delay! My children's teacher was Peter and he was fantastic. They spend the first 3 days on the nursery slope and over the other side at Birkenlift, then the last 2 days at Rosshutte. On the Friday they were even taken on some red runs. They had a fantastic time, enjoyed their lunches, and have become more confident skiers. My wife and I had private lessons for the 2nd year in a row with the fantastic Mary. She's great fun, makes sure you have all the basics nailed, and gives you a range of skills and techniques you need to enjoy the Rosshutte and Gschwandkopf on your own with confidence and in safety. If you are a complete beginner or improver we can't recommend time spent learning from Mary enough!

HORRIBLE! I joined (and paid) a ski class three weeks in advance. She got cancelled 20 HOURS before the start! I was already in Seefeld, where I travelled for taking ski classes...!!! NOT to recommend.

Had 3 private ski lessons with Tony. The best teacher ever! He is patient and really understands his job. He got me in tears and these were tears of joy I was really scared to ski and Tony took all that away and for the first time I enjoyed the sensation of skiing. If I was to come back to visit Seefeld again it would be for Tony. Best wishes Juliette.
