Die Untersuchung war gründlich und kompetent und er hat sich die Zeit genommen all meine Fragen zu beantworten. Große Empfehlung! I went to Dr. Karanikas felt very safe and in good hands. The investigation was thorough and competent and he took the time to answer all of my questions. Great recommendation!

Er hat mich durch meine Schilddrüsen-OP auf das Beste begleitet und ist seither schon viele Jahre der Arzt , dem ich wirklich Vertrauen schenke. Er ist immer freundlich, höchst kompetent in seinem Fachbereich und nimmt sich viel Zeit, immer bereit auf einfühlsame Art auf alle meine Fragen einzugehen. Darüberhinaus ist er eine Persönlichkeit voll Humor und Neugier nach Wissen, was beides wohl für einen wirklich guten Arzt Grundvoraussetzungen sind und die Termine bei ihm zu etwas Besonderem machen. Die stets kurze Wartezeit in seiner Ordination ist noch ein zusätzliches Plus, das wohl jeder Patient schätzt. Univ. Prof. Dr. Karanikas is a really excellent doctor. He accompanied me as best I could through my thyroid surgery and has been the doctor I really trust for many years. He is always friendly, highly competent in his field and takes a lot of time, always ready to answer all my questions in a sensitive way. In addition, he is a personality full of humor and curiosity for knowledge, which are both basic requirements for a really good doctor and which make the appointments with him something special. The always short waiting time in his ordination is an additional plus that every patient will appreciate.

ACHTUNG: ÖGK lehnt Verrechnung ohne Überweisung ab, da Nuklearmediziner (statt Internist)! Very friendly. Detailed initial discussion, but no discussion of findings! So for me no difference to other thyroid specialists. ATTENTION: ÖGK rejects billing without referral, as nuclear medicine doctor (instead of internist)!

Dr. Karanikas nimmt sich immer Zeit für meine Rückfragen und ist stets um eine verständliche Erklärung des medizinischen Sachverhalts bemüht. Durch seinen menschlichen Zugang und seine Kompetenz fühle ich mich sehr gut aufgehoben. Die Terminvergabe klappt auch super! Ich habe bis jetzt immer schnell einen Termin bekommen und habe aufgrund der guten Organisation kaum in der Ordination warten müssen. I can only recommend the Thyroid Center Wien Mitte! Dr. Karanikas always takes time for my queries and always tries to provide an understandable explanation of the medical facts. Thanks to his human approach and his competence, I feel that I am in very good hands. The appointment allocation also works great! Up until now I have always got an appointment quickly and, due to the good organization, I hardly had to wait in the ordination.
P	Puppetmaster3000 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vorab gesagt, als ich da war war leider nicht der Herr Dr. Karanikas dort sondern ein anderer Arzt. Meine Erfahrung war leider nicht so gut wie die es die anderen Patienten hier beschrieben haben. Ich war nach 15 Minuten wieder draußen, es ging alles so schnell und zugehört hat mir der Arzt überhaupt nicht. Ich habe ihn immer selber unterbrechen müssen und meine Fragen stellen müssen, damit ich überhaupt mal zu Wort kam.. ich hab mich absolut nicht gut aufgehoben gefühlt und dass ich Befunde von vor 3 Monaten mitgebracht habe hat ihn leider nicht interessiert, er hat alles nochmal getestet und siehe da: die Befunde waren genau dieselben wie vor 3 Monaten. Keine Nachbesprechung und ich wurde so schnell raus gebeten dass ich nicht mal meine Jacke dort anziehen konnte. Das waren mir keine 210 Euro wert. Werde dort nicht mehr hingehen. I said in advance, when I was there, unfortunately, Dr. Karanikas there but another doctor. Unfortunately, my experience was not as good as that described by the other patients here. I was out again after 15 minutes, everything happened so quickly and the doctor didn't listen to me at all. I always had to interrupt him myself and ask my questions so that I could even get a chance to speak.. I didn't feel like I was in good hands at all and unfortunately he wasn't interested in the fact that I brought findings from 3 months ago, he has everything again tested and lo and behold: the findings were exactly the same as 3 months ago. No debriefing and I was asked out so quickly I couldn't even put my jacket on there. That wasn't worth 210 euros to me. Won't go there again.
