★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Fahrt mit der Festungsbahn ist zwar kurz, aber dennoch interessant. Für Inhaber der SalzburgCard ist eine Fahrt kostenlos. Kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: Hier dürften gerne mehrere Fahrten enthalten sein. Wir wollten nach der Burgbesichtigung nochmal zum Essen in das Festungsrestaurant, leider hätten wir dann nochmal zusätzlich die Fahrten bezahlen müssen.
The ride on the fortress is short but interesting. Holders of the SalzburgCard can travel for free. Small suggestion for improvement: Here are likely to be included several trips. We wanted to go to the castle again to eat in the fortress restaurant, unfortunately we would have to pay again additionally the rides.

Upper cable car station at Salzburg Fort. The view from the mountain is beautiful. Don't forget about safety.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ With Salzburg card this ride is for free, however the castle is somewhat under whelming if you are using the card as most things are free and those that aren’t are a bit boring, so I’d use the train ride at night to get views of city and explore castle a different day
