★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr interessante Anlage mit toller Aussicht. Leider sind die Wege ziemlich schlecht markiert und verwachsen. Auch die Ruine ist stark verwachsen, teilweise gibt es steile Abhänge. Warnhinweise gibt es dort leider auch nicht. Ich hätte eigentlich geplant, mit meinem fünfjährigen Sohn hinzugehen und war dann sehr froh, dass er nicht dabei war. Es wäre zu riskant für ihn dort, obwohl er für sein Alter sehr verantwortungsvoll und vorsichtig ist.
Very interesting area with great views. Unfortunately, the paths are pretty badly marked and overgrown. The ruins are also overgrown, sometimes there are steep slopes. Unfortunately there are no warnings there either. I had planned to go with my five-year-old son and was very happy he was not there. It would be too risky for him there, though he is very responsible and careful for his age.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Von Gars aus bei den Ausgrabungen der Slawen vorbei, unbedingt miteinplanen Nordtor beziehungsweise Südturm, Gräberfeld, Kirche ...alles sehr gut und neu Beschildert. Die Ruine liegt an einem sehr schönen Aussichtspunkt, auf das Kamptal und die umliegende Landschaft. Aber bitte vorsichtig sein man glaubt man ist mitten in der Ruine dabei befindet man sich auf einer Aussenmauer mit beträchtlichem Höhenunterschied..am Weg nach Kamp zurück liegt noch die Schanze, sehr schöner Aussichtspunkt..
From Gars past the excavations of the Slavs, be sure to include the north gate or south tower, burial ground, church ... all very well and newly signposted. The ruin is located at a very beautiful vantage point on the Kamptal and the surrounding landscape. But please be careful if you think you are in the middle of the ruin while you are on an outer wall with a considerable difference in height .. on the way back to Kamp there is still the ski jump, very nice viewpoint ..
