★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hier ist der Burgruinenverein sehr aktiv. Am Wochenende werden belegte Brote, exzellente Torten und gepflegte Getränke angeboten. Ausserdem kann man dem Turm begehen oder eine Burgführung mit einem ausgezeichneten Guide unternehmen. Ein Besuch lohnt sich allemal. ???
The castle ruins association is very active here. At the weekend, sandwiches, excellent cakes and fine drinks are offered. You can also visit the tower or take a tour of the castle with an excellent guide. A visit is worth it. ???

Nice stop in the Mürztal, friendly management with little things. You can climb the tower and enjoy the view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Ruine ist sehr gut erhalten, Besuchszeiten sind von Freitag bis Sonntag ab 14 Uhr bis 24 Uhr. Es gibt eine Gaststube und man kann auch im Freien sitzen. Kaffee, Kuchen, Fleischbrote und Bier werden von sehr netten und freundlichen Damen serviert. Bei Bedarf kann man die Ruine bzw. Teile davon auch für Hochzeiten oder Geburtstage mieten. Ich musste von meinem Parkplatz nur ein paar Minuten bis zur Ruine spazieren. Auf der Burg gibt es die Möglichkeit in den Turm zu gehen, bis ganz nach oben. Dort hat man einen wunderbaren Ausblick über die Region. Wenn man in der Gegend ist, auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.
The ruin is very well preserved, visiting hours are from Friday to Sunday from 2 p.m. to midnight. There is a dining room and you can sit outside. Coffee, cake, meat sandwiches and beer are served by very nice and friendly ladies. If necessary, the ruins or parts of them can also be rented for weddings or birthdays. I only had to walk a few minutes from my parking lot to the ruins. At the castle there is the possibility to go into the tower, all the way to the top. There you have a wonderful view of the region. Definitely worth a visit if in the area.
