Wenn ich mir als Beschuldigter schon während des Ermittlungsverfahrens einen Anwalt für € 400,- pro Stunde leiste, erwarte ich mir mehr als die plumpe und arrogante Aussage bzw. Empfehlung, dass ich am besten geständig bin und ein bissl was zugeben soll, obwohl keine Beweise und Ermittlungsergebnisse vorliegen.
Schade, da war man wohl eher auf ein kurzes Verfahren mit Schuldspruch und dadurch leicht verdientes Geld aus, anstatt sich die Mühe zu machen auf einen Freispruch hinzuarbeiten, der im Endeffekt für die Kanzlei noch viel mehr Geld gebracht hätte, weil viel aufwändiger und mit wesentlich mehr Anwaltsstunden verbunden.
Habe mir dann zum Glück einen anderen Anwalt gesucht der sogar um einiges günstiger war und wurde mittlerweile freigesprochen.
Absolutely not recommended for me. If, as a suspect, I afford to hire a lawyer for €400 per hour during the preliminary investigation, I expect more than the clumsy and arrogant statement or recommendation that I should confess and admit a little, even though there is no evidence and investigation results are available.
It's a shame, because they were more likely to be looking for a short trial with a guilty verdict and thus easy money, instead of taking the trouble to work towards an acquittal, which would ultimately have brought much more money for the law firm because it was much more complex and important more legal hours connected.
Luckily I looked for another lawyer who was even a lot cheaper and has now been acquitted.
