Very interesting excavation in a picturesque place. Unfortunately, the detailed signs are already a bit bleached by the sun and sometimes difficult to read.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Da ich früher einmal direkt unterhalb der Ausgrabungen gewohnt habe und selbst bei der Restaurierung mitgeholfen habe ist meine Beziehung zu diesem Ort etwas ganz besonderes ich meine wie weit uns die alten Römer voraus waren und wieviel im Mittelalter wieder vergessen wurde ist wirklich erstaunlich. Ich kann jeden der sich für die Antike interessiert oder etwas für Historismus bzw. Geschichte übrig hat diese Stelle nur wärmstens empfehlen.
Since I used to live right below the excavations and helped with the restoration, my relationship to this place is very special, I mean how far the ancient Romans were ahead of us and how much was forgotten in the Middle Ages is really amazing. I can recommend anyone who is interested in the ancient world or something for historicism or history, this site highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr interessant und eindrucksvoll. Man bekommt nur den Eindruck, dass es gar nicht erwünscht ist, dieses Freiluftmuseum zu besuchen. Die Parkplätze sind eigentlich nicht zu finden. Die Zufahrtsstrasse lt. Routenplaner ist verehrsbeschränkt. Das geht besser lieber Fremdenverkehrsverein.
Very interesting and impressive. You just get the impression that you don't want to visit this open-air museum. The parking spaces are actually not to be found. The access road according to the route planner is restricted. Better to do that, Tourist Association.
