Wenn keine Veranstaltung dort stattfindet, ist alles geschlossen und man kann sich nur die schöne Umzeunung ansehen. Außerdem ich die Hälfte dauerhaft geschlossen und verwahrlost. Ich habe definitiv mehr erwartet... Attraction and a beautiful Roman quarry to visit? Nothing! Just disappointing! If there is no event there, everything is closed and you can only look at the beautiful surrounding area. Plus, half of it is permanently closed and neglected. I definitely expected more ...

Beeindruckend war die Darstellung der Geschichte des Steinbruchs, und der Verwendung der Anlage als Location für Aufführungen klassischer Musik. Auf den Gedanken muß man erst einmal kommen ? A beautiful place. We visited the quarry as part of a dedicated tour, thank you. Impressive was the presentation of the history of the quarry, and the use of the plant as a venue for performances of classical music. One must first come to the thought ?

Ich war 2008 Latraviata ,2009 Rigoletto, 2010 Zauberflöte, 2014 Aida, 2015 Tosca 2016 der Liebestrank 2017 Rigoletto und da gab es immer 5 Sterne. This year only three stars, I didn't like the set design and Mr. Simonischek as Papageno. As always, the atmosphere was very good. I was Latraviata in 2008, Rigoletto in 2009, 2010 Magic Flute, 2014 Aida, 2015 Tosca 2016 the love potion 2017 Rigoletto and there were always 5 stars.

Werden sicher wieder eine Oper dort besuchen. Visited Tourandot. Top location with sufficient and good gastronomy. The scenery in the quarry is worth seeing. Will definitely visit an opera there again.

C	Carmen Hofwimmer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Römersteinbruch in Sankt Magarethen looks rly nice if u walk by but if u go inside, it is a lil boring. I went there to see Turandot and with the stage and everything it is less boring, the stage actually looks really really cool, especially during Turandot with the light effects and so on. Turandot was really cool, if u like operas u need to watch it! It gets very cold tho so bring a warm jacket or a few blankets. Have fun:)
