Romantik Hotel Spielmann

Absolutely beautiful from the outside and also very nice from the inside. Most rooms have a fantastic view.

Just went there for a drink after skiing, very kind personnel. Planning to stay there soon, very nice premises.

Good Hotel but bad implementation of corona measures. Breakfast forces people in excessive ques for even a simple cup of coffee. Getting a boiled egg requires queuing multiple times at worst.

This is a very special place. You feel like a house guest not a hotel guest. Nothing is too much trouble for the friendly staff who say hello when off duty too. That's how friendly the place is. Highlights are the views, the super-comfortable beds, the choice and quality of food and the spa. The spa deserves a special mention as it's simply world class if you measure it on how it makes you feel afterwards. There were 2 saunas, steam and various showers along with brilliant relaxation sspace. Whilst the hotel was full it didn't feel it as there is so much space to share. This our first trip here and it's already one of our favourite hotels anywhere and we will be back.

We spent 6 days in this hotel. Things I like about this hotel: - the wellness area is clean and spacious - the pool has a very nice view - family room has a big balcony - parking is free, there is a charging station for E-cars for free. - the hotel reserved one charging station for us Things that need improvement: - the breakfast is really badly organized. First of all there is only one coffee machine so after 9 am, there was a long queue in front of the coffee machine. In addition to just one coffee machine, the machine was very slow and needed to be emptied quite often. Because of the location of the coffee machine, all the guests are forced to stay close to each other. In a 4 star-hotel we would expect either the staff bring the coffee to the table or you put another machine for the guests to use. It is not much an investment but it really improves the breakfast experience. Especially during Corona time it is crucial that the guests keep enough distance from each other. We stayed in other 3 hotels and they were doing much better jobs than Spielmann hotel. The owner's family had breakfast every morning with the guests and the long queue never bothered them. Secondly you have to ask the staff to cook eggs for you and the staff was not really helpful. Third, in the first 3 days the staff put the jam in small bowl which was good but after that the jam was back in the big jar. - We have booked half-board and I surely regretted this decision. The quality of food varies from day to day. All together the food was ok. - Family room is overpriced. The whole decoration is outdated. Most importantly the mattresses are not good. The beds in kids room were very uncomfortable. On the second day when we returned to our room, I noticed that the staff has put the extra toilet paper roll on the toilet brush! For the prices we paid, I expected much more than what we have experienced in this hotel.

Nice spa! Its also nice to know that you can ask them to make a vegan dish if you don't like a lot of heavy cream. They are delicious!

We had an amazing time! The staff is exceptionally kind and they always smile. They helped us with everything including trips around. The rooms are clean, the food is amazing. With the heated pool, saunas (kräutersauna was the best), resting areas all with mountain view, it was one of a kind! I recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to leave the stress behind and enjoy the serenity. We will definitely come back!

We stayed last week, and actually a bit shocked by the comments in the previous persons review! The pool was more than warm enough! My partner and myself enjoyed it for hours at a time. Regarding the food, I am a very fussy eater, but I ate every meal and tried so many things, because each item was cooked and presented superbly. The breakfast was extensive, and personally I liked the orange juice! Thank you Markus and Martina for being so helpful and friendly, and special thanks to Markus for being so entertaining and a great bar tender. We found the hotel stunning, the food fantastic and to be able to ski straight on to the slope, was amazing. The owners were so lovely and even went out their way to pick us up when we were late on the train. When I got back injured on the slope, the staff went out of the way again to help and sort the doctor for me. Regarding coffee, you don’t need it in your room, just go sit in the bar and be sociable! The only criticism I would have, is that their website doesn’t sell how great this hotel is!
