B	Bert Opdebeeck on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We verbleven in het nieuwe gedeelte en de kamers waren heel netjes. Met halfpension hadden we een gevarieerd viergangenmenu. Het ontbijt was meer dan voldoende, en de faciliteiten waaronder de sauna netjes. Alleen wanneer het hotel drukker bezet zou zijn, zou de sauna wat te klein zijn. Verder vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. We stayed in the new part and the rooms were very neat. With half board we had a varied four course menu. The breakfast was more than adequate, and the facilities including the sauna neat. The sauna would only be a bit too small if the hotel was busier. Also friendly and helpful staff.

L	L P on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review is long over due. I visited last July and stayed for several days. Florian and the staff were the most hospitable people I met during my trip. I felt very at home and taken care of. There was always someone around to help or answer a question and even offer suggestions for food, travel, and general local advice. I booked my stay far in advance of my trip and Der Grune Baum was very accommodating helping me along the way with payment and directions. They required a deposit to hold the suite but provided an easy means to do so. I even needed to use a laundry and they had one to use on-site. I highly recommend the Jr Suite as it's large, has spectacular views of the mountains and is very comfortable! The hotel is a true mountain chalet. Worth mentioning is breakfast and dinner. Both are fantastic and definitely worth the added cost. In my opinion, everything I had was delicious. Additionally, I'm a big fan of Gin. Their bar features 75 different Gins from all over Austria, Germany and the rest of Europe. Their bar features many other items but I was most pleased by the Gin selection. Thank you Der Grune Baum for an amazing stay. I will return soon.
J	Julio Ferreris on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would absolutely recommend staying in this hotel. It is very central to all the skiing in the Lehrmoos/Ehrwald area. This place is quaint and charming. I took the full room and board which included both breakfast and dinner. I will say that for a solo ski trip that is definitely the way to go. The breakfast is good but the dinners were absolutely amazing. I stayed during the Christmas holiday, and the hotel made sure that Christmas dinner was something special. The hotel staff is great. I did not try the spa while there so I cannot speak on how good it is. There is a bit of a language barrier when dealing in English but nothing that cannot be easily overcome. Definitely looking forward to another stay in the hotel and more skiing in the Ehrwald area.
