★ ★ ★ ★ ★ House "pfandl" with Spätzle is out of this world. Chicken "pfandl" with vegetables was also fantastic - be aware hot appetizer sandwiches - those are huge and great! I stayed 4 nights in Wien and came back for the meal. Great taste and value for money. Worth of visit - only 20 mins from overpriced downtown restaurants - and close to Grinzing's heurigers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is our favorite restaurant in Vienna. We like it better than the famous Vienna restaurants in the 1st district. We take all of our visitors from out of town here. Great service and friendly staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very straight forward Vienese restaurant, they are good at keeping the local seasoning cuisine. Fair prices and large portions. The decoration is traditional and the waiters are forthcoming. for the summer they have a large terrace and a backyard for eating outdoors

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food. Good bier. Nevertheless, non-smoking areas too small and the smoke is not restrained. Bathrooms are clean. Non specific parking so you have to find a spot over the near by streets.
