L	Lonny Snowden on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good Italian restaurant. There is no menus. They will let you know what three or four items they are serving for the day. With that said I had a great fettuccine with tomato sauce and bacon. There fettuccine is hand made daily. It was also a plus that they have ice for their sodas. Definitely a locals restaurant and out of the way.

The idea here is that they only cook with fresh ingredients, so there is no menu and each day they serve only 3 different dishes (one at least is always vegetarian). The food is AMAAZING. Pasta dishes vary from 13€, 1L of wine around 8€ and you get the point, great food for reasonable price. If you are more than 3 people I would recommend you to share the anti pasti - that is a mix of very yummy things! The aperol spritz are also an amazing way to start the dinner date! Come here with family, your loved one or friends!

You can park in the street, no parking Lot. The waitress were kind and speak English. Clean bathrooms. There are some itens to purchase, like wine and italian food. Fair price.

It is true there is no menu. They have something like a day offer with something more in case you ask. The food was delicious, price good, staff trying to provide a little of Italian restaurant atmosphere and if you speak Italian, they will love you!

And even though the selection is small (a set of anti pasti and 4-5 pasta dishes) you don't need more because each dish is simple yet great as if the family's "Italian" mama herself is cooking at the back kitchen. We loved every bite and felt lucky to have stumbled upon this small restaurant on our three-days visit to Salzburg.

After making a reservation which was confirmed via telephone, we arrived at the accorded time and had basically and unfriendly welcome from the waiter who didn’t even say hello and showed us the door and told me that the table was still occupied. Since he didn’t say much, we interpreted that we needed to wait outside until the previous people was finished. Lucky us, we got the table without so much talking from the waiter’s side. In terms of food, high general disappointment. Both with the antipasti and the pasta itself. Not to talk about the bread, which was basically the cheapest that one can find in Billa and was probably heated up in the morning. It was uneatable, like a piece of wood. After reading many reviews, I realised that they always answer that they offer their ciabatta as well. However, if they want to stick to this style of no written menu, they should do it properly and also advise the guests while explaining the menu about the possibility to get their ciabatta for an extra amount of money. As for the pasta with “octopus”, I would basically recommend in general to stick to an offer with products that one knows how to cook. The octopus was basically a neutral chewing gum. No taste at all. Definitely not going to recommend it.
