F	Franz Hűbl on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Preis Leistung, gut. Leider war das Fleisch 2x gestorben, weil die Koteletts total durchgebraten, und daher sehr trocken waren. Geschmacklich sehr gut. Price performance, good. Unfortunately, the meat had died 2x, because the chops were totally fried, and therefore very dry. Very good taste.
H	H Z on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 3 Sterne sind nicht viel! 5 Sterne für die Einrichtung 4 Sterne für das Personal (freundlich, Kompetent) 2 Sterne für das Essen. Alles was ich gegessen habe war Standard. Es hat nichts schlecht geschmeckt aber es war auch nichts dabei dass ich gesagt hätte da bräuchte ich Nachschlag. Das Frühstück war umfangreich aber auch nichts dabei was mich überrascht oder beindruckt hätte. Auch als Beispiel warum nur 3 Sterne kann man auch die Menükarte anführen. (Steht zwar alles drauf aber das war es schon) für ein Frühstückspension ausreichend aber nicht für ein Restaurant eines 4-Sterne Hotels. 3 stars are not much! 5 stars for the facility 4 stars for the staff (friendly, competent) 2 stars for the food. Everything I ate was standard. It didn't taste bad, but there wasn't anything I said I needed to look up. The breakfast was extensive but nothing that surprised or impressed me. The menu card can also be cited as an example of why only 3 stars. (It says everything on it but that's about it) Sufficient for a bed and breakfast but not for a restaurant in a 4-star hotel.

Das Restaurant war geöffnet, Kellner waren auch einige da. Anstatt uns einen Tisch anzubieten wurden wir unfreundlich hinauskomplementiert: Wir dürften draußen warten bis 11:30h. Meine Empfehlung: Wenn das Restaurant geschlossen ist, dann sperrt die Türe zu. Wenn die Gäste im Lokal stehen schmeißt Sie nicht hinaus wegen ein paar Minuten. Zu gehobener Gastronomie gehört auch der entsprechende Umgang mit den zahlenden Gästen. Den kennt man im Hotelrestaurant anscheinend nicht. Der Kunde ist hier nicht König. Nie wieder... (Vermutlich haben die nicht genug gelitten in der Pandemie...) We wanted a la carte lunch. The hotel restaurant was recommended to us. Unfortunately we were there a few minutes before 11:30 a.m. The restaurant was open and there were a few waiters. Instead of offering us a table, we were rudely complemented: We were allowed to wait outside until 11:30 a.m. My recommendation: when the restaurant is closed, lock the door. If the guests are in the restaurant, don't throw them out for a few minutes. Upscale gastronomy also means dealing appropriately with paying guests. Apparently you don't know him in the hotel restaurant. The customer is not king here. Never again ... (Probably they didn't suffer enough in the pandemic ...)
K	Kerstin Schreiber on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir besuchten schon öfteren das FRÜHSTÜCKSBUFFET als auswärtige Gäste im Restaurant, haben auch immer reserviert nur leider wurde unser Tisch bei allen 3 Besuchen in das letzte Eck des Restaurants platziert:( Es hat den Anschein dass man als auswärtiger zahlender Gast nicht erwünscht ist, das Personal hatte bei allen 3 Besuchen nicht gegrüßt- auch beim verlassen wurden wir nicht beachtet oder verabschiedet- sehr schade da ich selbst in der Gastronomie tätig bin gehört Freundlichkeit finde ich an erster Stelle! Das FRÜHSTÜCKSBUFFET war aber ausreichend und alles vorhanden! Leider werden wir aber das Restaurant nicht mehr besuchen…. We have often visited the BREAKFAST BUFFET as external guests in the restaurant, and have always made reservations, but unfortunately our table was placed in the last corner of the restaurant on all 3 visits:( It seems that you are not wanted as an external paying guest, the staff had not greeted us on all 3 visits - even when we left, we were not noticed or said goodbye - a shame because I work in the catering industry myself, I think friendliness comes first Job! The BREAKFAST BUFFET was sufficient and everything was available! Unfortunately we will not visit the restaurant anymore...
M	Michael Droll on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir gehen öfter im Jahr, auch für Familienfeiern ins Restaurant Sole Felsen Bad, im großen und ganzen hat bisher auch immer alles gepasst. Aber für eine Beilagenänderung (beim Grillteller statt Bratkartoffel Pommes Frittes bestellt) € 2,50 Aufschlag zu verlangen, das geht dann doch zu weit. Nach dem Motto "Friss oder zahl" das geht dann doch etwas zu weit. Solange es diese Regelung gibt, werde ich von mir aus hier keine Reservierung mehr tätigen. Es gibt in Gmünd auch andere gute Lokalitäten! We go to the Sole Felsen Bad restaurant several times a year, also for family celebrations, and on the whole everything has always been fine so far. But asking for a €2.50 surcharge for a side dish change (order French fries instead of fried potatoes for a grilled dish) is going too far. According to the motto "eat or pay" that's going a bit too far. As long as this regulation is in place, I will not make any more reservations here. There are also other good places in Gmünd!

Beim Buffet bleibt kein Wunsch offen und das Essen war ein Traum?.Das Service Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Zimmer sowie der ganze öffentliche Bereich waren sehr sehr sauber. Wir können dieses wunderbare Hotel einfach nur weiterempfehlen. A wonderful stay at the beautiful Sole Felsen Hotel. The buffet leaves nothing to be desired and the food was a dream ?. The service staff is very friendly and attentive. The rooms and the whole public area were very, very clean. We can only recommend this wonderful hotel.
