★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem in the Beethovengasse! When asked about his white wines the friendly owner set up a miniature tasting of his wines from the Laurer vineyard in the Weinviertel. They proved to be excellent, award winning wines, especially the classic Welschriesling. The pumpkin soup and the mushroom risotto were deliciously creamy, the goat's cheese salad tasty and generous. Unlike our experience with many Austrian restaurants the food was not over-salted. We would go back there any time.

Great for lunch.
Wheelchair accessible only with someone to hold the door for you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traditional Austrian food with a selection of vegetarian options successfully added. The boss knows his stuff and can recommend the most suitable wine for each dish (and explain the choice). Comfortable and unpretentious. And good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Down to earth food, down to earth prices, down to earth guy. Great Viennese food, reasonable prices and a chatty and charming restaurant owner. Lovely terrace, there is no reason not to visit this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you visit Vienna go here. Maitre'd is fantastic, kind and a great laugh. Genuine and authentic - no English menu, great food - simply spectacular, Grappas on offer and a blackboard of amazing specials for both mains and desserts. An amazing hidden "local" treasure at great prices.
