This restaurant is a real treat - I high recommend it. We sat at the bar, enjoyed the incredible personal attention of (what I assume is) one of the owners from behind the bar. Outstanding meal. Great atmosphere. Drinks were flowing and led to lots of great conversation with travellers around us..a perfect evening and it set a very high bar for all other restaurants in San Anton. If you come here, don't miss this wonderful restaurant.

Underwhelming, unimaginative and overpriced. I went to Hazienda with my partner because it was rated well on the internet. The menu is complicated which was a warning sign from the start, but as we booked in advance, we decided to stay. We discovered that all their steaks are either from U.S. or Australian beef – we wanted local choices and thus went for pasta and pork cordon bleu as mains. I ordered Asian-style beef tartar as an appetizer (I still need needed my beef). The beef tartar was OK – it arrived covered with yellow sauce (probably mustard-based), not a very appealing presentation, but in the end the dish was flavorful, spicy with nice acidity thanks to sauces and marinated ginger. The food quality went down from there. The pasta (pappardelle with chorizo and burrata) was presented as a pile of pasta and ingredients floating in some watery liquid with a piece of burrata on the top. The chorizo was there, as well as some green stuff (probably spinach) and capers, and some other vegies – I don’t know if it was the chef’s poor imagination of poor implementation, but it’s not what one expects from a pasta for 32.50EUR with no particularly expensive ingredients. My partner ordered pork cordon blue made from local pork. The cordon bleu piece arrived placed on roasted young potatoes cut in round slices. The potatoes looked as reheated. When cut, the cordon bleu released a copious amount of watery liquid. There was nothing special about the pork – it was eatable at the price tag of EUR38.60. The wine by glass (Zweigeld) was as expected, but it’s not the restaurant’s fault. We didn't risk the desert and left. The service was good (we didn't ask for anything special). The conclusion – it’s an over-hyped and overpriced place that should be avoided. There are many better alternatives in Sankt Anton and neighboring towns.
