Very nice and courteous tenants! Opened despite rather bad weather - which made us very happy. The small dishes were also very tasty.
N	Nora Nyvelt on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir kommen sehr gerne zur Rauchenbühelhütte. Sie ist gemütlich und recht gut versteckt. Draußen und drinnen ist es fein zum Sitzen und entspannen. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut und die Auswahl (an Speisen und Getränken) ist völlig ausreichend. Vor allem an Sonntagen bei schönem Ausflugswetter muss man mit längeren Wartezeiten rechnen. Wer mit dem Auto hinkommt, soll wissen, dass der Parkplatz sehr klein ist und recht weit entfernt. We like to come to the Rauchbühelhütte. She is cozy and pretty well hidden. Outside and inside it is nice to sit and relax. The food tastes very good and the selection (of food and drinks) is quite sufficient. Especially on Sundays with nice weather you have to expect longer waiting times. If you come by car, you should know that the parking lot is very small and quite far away.

Sperrt im Sommer am Abend viel zu früh zu... Unfortunately, this enchanting hut is seldom open - even with the best weather - New Year's Eve morning - dream weather - hut not open again ... It's a shame. Locks way too early in the evening in summer ...

We were served some dishes the place is apparently known for (Kässpatzen, Schweinebraten) and I have to admit I was impressed. It might have helped that I was incredibly hungry following a 2 hr hike up in snow and via the woods. There are good signs but at night it helps to know where you're heading. Very friendly and helpful owner with lots of advice and foresight; a real credit to he Austrian hospitality industry. Well done!
