The service is bad, the setup takes forever, and I’m pretty sure their app and tech is running on Windows 98. For whatever reason everything you want to do involves contacting someone, and when they’re on holiday no one else can really help. When my credit card was lost in mail for 3 months, the account manager blamed the “foreigners who work at post from 3rd countries and don’t speak German” instead of their inability to provide a service. The 1 year free when you become a client was not worth it, Erste is where you want to go. I initially chose this bank because of their marketing materials but honestly the marketing department seems like the only functioning one on this bank. Save yourself some nerves and just skip this one.
