Just in the enquiry phase of a booking but ,to date this company is very helpful.

We booked our 3-rd tour and we are very satisfied. Good hotel selection and perfect organisation.

While Rad + Reisen were very good when we were booking our tour and with subsequent inquiries we were very disappointed with them when we had to cancel our bike and barge booking because 1. Our flight to Germany was cancelled by the airline 2. Our government has advised against all travel and especially travel on cruise boats and 3. We are 65+ and are at high risk due to Covid. When we asked IF OUR DEPOSIT COULD BE APPLIED TO A FUTURE BOOKING with Rad + Reisen here is the email response we received As alternative you can rebook to 2021. We will reduce your actual cancellation fees with another 20%. Example: You would have actually 30% cancellation fees, e.g. of € 1000,- , which would be € 300,- fees. Those fees will be reduce with another 20% , so the effective cancellation fees within a rebooking to 2021 would then be € 240,- (instead of € 300,-) So the bottom line is Rad + Reisen will not deviate from their cancellations policies even with the troubles and concerns for their clients due to Covid. We ended up paying a 480 Euro cancellation fee (30% of our tour cost) to completely cancel our booking rather than re-book a future trip with them and pay their re-booking cancellation fee of 384 Euros (480 - 96 (20%) While I understand it is difficult for everyone these days and we were not expecting a refund of our deposit but we were hopeful our funds could have been applied to a future booking with them. It is safe to say we will not be utilizing Rad + Reisen in future.

Pure Greed Rad & Reisen's communication, boat and standard bikes were all unacceptable. The boat was of greatest concern as it really was not fit for passengers.The venting and drainage problems were so sever that they were a health and safety danger. We were a group of 22 and ALL of our cabins had sewer gas - some almost all days. None of the sinks or showers drained properly. People woke up with headaches and some were sick much of the time. There was no sanitizing of hands in the dining room and other passengers touched the buffet food (some with their hands) especially making sandwiches for lunch. As a result, all of our party either developed coughs or flu like symptoms at some time during the trip. In these close quarters, if one person on the boat is sick, everyone eventually is if there are not very strict health and safety standards. The standard bikes were very old, heavy and not maintained. Only 9 or my gears out of 27 worked one day. I reported it and the next day only 4 of my gears worked. My husband's bike gear indicator was totally missing. The E-bikes were good. Due to water levels, we were unable to do the trip as planned. Rad & Reisen notified us of this the night before we were leaving to board the boat and wanted and answer immediately as to what we wanted to do. On the internet it seems other tour companies notified people several weeks before of this being likely. On a positive note - the food was good, the staff were wonderful and did the best they could with what they were given. The cycling routes are excellent.

As a first time trip I thought it was fantastic. Our boat The Fortuna was great, staff were fantastic. Our cruise director Leslie was always on the bike with us and has put out stickers with arrows for our route. My one complaint not enough time to bike and see sites, we always had to rush back to the boat which was very disappointing missed out on many things. I also would try and avoid u tracks booking, they snuck in a last minute fee $260 for my wife and I. and there reply time to questions is atrocious. They blamed everything on covid.
