Meine Mutter (83, Pflegestufe 5 -> Asthma, Diabetes, Hypertonie, Aorten-Aneurysma, Schlaganfall vor 5 Jahren, Demenz, etc.) brach sich am 6.9.2018 die Hüfte und ihr wurde in Wr. Neustadt minimalinvasiv eine Duokopfprothese implantiert. Einen Monat später ist die Prothese in den Oberschenkel-Knochen eingesunken. Sie bekam von der Anästhesie nun keine Freigabe für eine neuerliche Hüft-OP, da schon vor Jahren ein Aorten-Aneurysma diagnostiziert wurde. Ein CT ergab, dass der Durchmesser der Aorta Abd. (Bauchschlagader) bereits bei 9,2 cm war. Sie lag mit großen Schmerzen in Wr. Neustadt und wurde wochenlang von Untersuchung zu Untersuchung vertröstet. Woraufhin ich mich an Prof. Klinger im AKH wandte (er wurde mir als sehr kompetenter und erfahrener Arzt wärmstens empfohlen). Er hat sich am selben Tag noch die Unterlagen angesehen. Eine Woche später wurde meine Mutter ins AKH verlegt und Prof. Klinger und sein großartiges Team haben sie bereits am Tag darauf erfolgreich operiert (Gefäßprothese -> Stentgraft). Zur Sicherheit veranlasste er, dass sie nach der OP ein paar Tage auf die Intensivstation kam bevor sie für die Hüft-OP wieder nach Wr. Neustadt verlegt werden konnte. Mittlerweile hat sie auch diese OP überstanden und kann in ein paar Tagen nach Hause entlassen werden. Dank Prof. Klinger wird sie diese Weihnachten bei ihrer Familie verbringen können statt im Spital. Durch die Umsicht, Kompetenz und Menschlichkeit von Prof. Klinger haben meine Familie und ich unser angeschlagenes Vertrauen in die Ärzteschaft wiedererlangt. DANKE!

My mother (83, care level 5 -> asthma, diabetes, hypertension, aortic aneurysm, stroke 5 years ago, dementia, etc.) broke her hip on September 6, 2018 and was in Wr. Neustadt implanted a dual head prosthesis in a minimally invasive manner. One month later the prosthesis sank into the thigh bone. She received no approval from the anesthesiologist for another hip operation, as an aortic aneurysm was diagnosed years ago. A CT showed that the diameter of the aorta abdomen (abdominal artery) was 9.2 cm. She was in great pain in Wr. Neustadt and was put off from investigation to investigation for weeks. Whereupon I turned to Prof. Klinger at the AKH (he was warmly recommended to me as a very competent and experienced doctor). He looked at the documents on the same day. A week later my mother was transferred to the AKH and Prof. Klinger and his great team successfully operated on her the next day (vascular prosthesis -> stent graft). To be on the safe side, he arranged for her to come to the intensive care unit for a few days after the operation before she returned to Wr for the hip operation. Neustadt could be relocated. In the meantime she has survived this operation and can be discharged home in a few days. Thanks to Prof. Klinger, she will be able to spend this Christmas with her family instead of in the hospital. Thanks to Prof. Klinger's prudence, competence and humanity, my family and I have regained our ailing trust in the medical profession. THANKS!

Bin zu Dr. Klinger wegen Beschwerden an meinem Bein (Krampfadern), nachdem sich andere Ärzte nicht darüber hinausgesehen haben. Er hat mich freundlich und gut beraten (fachlich, organisatorisch, sowie auch preistechnisch), schlussendlich habe ich mich für eine Venenextraktion entschieden, die er dann auch selbst durchgeführt hat. Die Operation verlief tadellos, meine Beschwerden sind merklich weniger geworden und ich bin deshalb sehr zufrieden mit Dr. Klinger (Vielen Dank!).

I went to Dr. Klinger because of discomfort in my leg (varicose veins) after other doctors didn't look beyond them. He gave me friendly and good advice (professionally, organizationally, as well as price-related), in the end I decided on a vein extraction, which he then carried out himself. The operation went flawlessly, my symptoms have noticeably decreased and I am therefore very satisfied with Dr. Klinger (Thank you very much!).
