Priv.-Doz. Dr. Sebastian Farr - Goethegasse 3

Nach einer Handoperation rundum super zufrieden. Sowohl mit der Betreuung über die Praxis als auch in Bezug auf die durchgeführte Operation. Alles top! Mir fiele kein einziger Kritikpunkt ein und ich kann nur Positives berichten.

Wir waren mit unserem Sohn im Dezember bei Prof. Farr und sind unendlich dankbar in ihm einen Orthopäden gefunden zu haben, der fachlich absolut am letzten Stand der Medizin ist und menschlich ein unfassbares Gespür sowohl für die jungen Patienten als auch deren Eltern beweist. Wir waren rund um den 6.12 in der Ordi und er hat unserem Sohn eine wunderbare Nikolaus-Geschichte erzählt. Ganz nebenbei ohne viel Aufsehen für unseren Sohn hat er ihn untersucht und uns immer genau erklärt worauf er achtet, was wichtig ist usw. Angenehm war, dass wir nicht mit Fachbegriffen eingedeckt wurden, sondern trotz nicht vorhandener medizinischer Ausbildung bestens Bescheid wussten. Herr Prof. Farr war äußerst freundlich, ruhig und mit unserem Sohn einfach cool. Ärzte wie Prof. Farr sind selten: Er stellt den Menschen in den Mittelpunkt seines Tuns und er zählt weltweit fachlich sicherlich zu den allerbesten auf seinem Gebiet. Wir sind froh, dass wir ihn gefunden haben- Vielen Dank!!

Ich kann Herrn Dr. Farr nur empfehlen - ich war mit meiner Tochter für eine Zweitmeinung bzgl. Hüftdysplasie bei ihm und wurde stets ausgezeichnet von ihm, als auch von seiner Ordinationsassistentin betreut. Herr Dr. Farr ist ausgesprochen genau beim Hüftultraschall, erklärt die einzelnen Schritte, man fühlt sich sehr kompetent betreut und er ist immer ganz entzückend mit meiner Tochter umgegangen :) Vielen Dank!

Wir sind unglaublich zufrieden mit Priv.-Doz. Dr. Farr. Mit beiden unsren Kindern sind wir seit der allerersten Untersuchung (Hüftultraschall) bei ihm. Er ist sehr genau und geht unglaublich liebevoll und vorsichtig mit den Neugeborenen um. In der Kommunikation mit uns als Eltern ist er klar und ruhig. Dr. Farr kann auch wirklich sehr gut mit Kleinkindern umgehen. Er kommunizierte mit unsrem Kind direkt, spielerisch und auf Augenhöhe, erklärte jeden Handgriff. Es war wirklich jedesmal ein sehr angenehmer Besuch & wir empfehlen ihn sehr oft an Bekannte weiter.

NEVER go there with a baby!!! WRONG diagnosis! I was there with my 2-month old baby girl for a standard hip ultrasound. This was only a control check, because we had this examination right after birth and the doctor recommended wearing the famous plastic pants, as the results weren’t too bad (the angle was 56-57 degrees), but improvement was needed. Dr. Farr met us and invited us in his office. The ultrasound wasn’t even switched on, so we had to wait 5-10 min. until it “warms up”. When he started the examination, he immediately complained that this tiny 2-month old girl is “too strong” and he could not do the picture for quite some time… And then the shock came – he diagnosed the baby with a very serious dysplasia (angle of 47 degrees) and immediately put her in a Pavlik bandage! Moreover he said that we need to wear it between 2 and 6 months! Of course we confronted him, and explained that two different doctors before him measured the hip and their measurements were both above 57 degrees! He said that he cannot explain this and only trusts his picture. I cannot describe well enough the stress of a breastfeeding mother when a doctor tells her that the baby has such bad diagnosis! We did not sleep at all that night. The next morning we managed to magically get another appointment for a second opinion, which confirmed that Farr’s pictures and diagnosis were WRONG! We even agreed to make an X-ray picture just to be 100% sure… Of course, the X-ray also confirmed that everything with the hip is just fine. After my daughter turned 3.5 months old the hips were both above 65 degrees and since then several doctors assured us that the kid is fine…
