Mein Kontakt zu Prof.Amon liegt zwar schon länger zurück, Oktober 2012, bin aber heute zufällig über seine Seite im Netz gestoßen und dachte mir ich muss eine Rezension über diesen genialen Professor verfassen. Ich bekam nach einer fehlerhaften 08/15 OP (Grauer Star) in einem NÖ.Krankenhaus von meinem Augenarzt die Adresse von Prof. Amon. Konnte auch schnell einen Termin bei ihm bekommen. Bei dieser Untersuchung empfohl er mir eine OP, worin er mir in das schlechte Auge eine Intraocularlinse (Huckepacklinse) implantieren würde. Nach diesem problemlosen Eingriff konnte ich schnell wieder das Spital verlassen und konnte es kaum fassen, ab diesem Zeitpunkt sah ich "wie ein Adler". Diese OP brachte mir wieder eine Lebensqualität zurück die ich nach der "verpfuschten" Behandlung im NÖ.Spital verloren hatte. Daher kann ich Prof. Amon nur jeden auf das wärmste empfehlen der ein Problem mit seinen Augen hat. Von mir gibt es daher ein großes Lob an diesen Menschen. For me, Prof. Michael Amon is a hero of ophthalmology. My contact with Prof. Amon was a long time ago, October 2012, but today I stumbled upon his website by chance and thought I had to write a review about this brilliant professor. After a faulty 08/15 operation (cataract) in a Lower Austria hospital, my ophthalmologist gave me the address of Prof. Amon. Was able to get an appointment with him quickly. During this examination he recommended an operation to me, in which he would implant an intraocular lens (piggyback lens) into my bad eye. After this trouble-free operation I was able to leave the hospital again quickly and could hardly believe it, from that point on I saw "like an eagle". This operation brought back a quality of life that I had lost after the "botched" treatment at the Lower Austria Hospital. Therefore I can only warmly recommend Prof. Amon to anyone who has a problem with their eyes. I therefore give this person great praise.

Im Juli 2020 waren wir bei Ihm in der Praxis, weil die Linse meiner Tochter plötzlich ganz weiss geworden ist. Prof. Amon ist sehr nett und seine Beratung ist sehr kompetent. Bei der Untersuchung hatte er sich viel Zeit genommen und hatte meine Tochter gründlich und genau untersucht. Er beantwortet immer alle Fragen für Patienten verständlich. Er hat meine Tochter am linken Auge operiert (kindlicher Katarakt) im KH Barmherzige Brüder. Es war keine leichte OP da die Linse mit der Hornhaut teilweise schon zusammengewachsen ist. Tolle OP Nach der OP hatte sie keine Schmerzen. Meine Tochter sieht jetzt besser als vorher. Bei d. Nachkontrollterminen nimmt er sich viel Zeit und untersucht meine Tochter gründlich und genau inkl. Augendruck messen. Man bekommt auch einen raschen Termin. Wir fühlen uns sehr gut aufgehoben. Meine Tochter geht sehr gerne zu den Kontrollterminen. Wir sind sehr froh dass wir einen so ausgezeichneten Augenarzt haben und einen herausragenden Augenchirurgen. Wir können ihn nur wärmstens empfehlen.
