Service is typically Austrian.... Fantastic
Reason for the rating is that it's a bit dated and could definitely use renovation in the rooms given that it's the same price as the other places.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room is big enough but very old. Our stay was ok but everything collapsed for two minutes at the check out. We were told that we must pay for two dirty towels. We were speechless and stunned in the beginning because we didn't do that - Really! The wife's owner came and she was so offensive impolite: The maid found them in your room and that's it! Your word didn't mean anything! She shouldn't be so rude for 15 euros which we paid and of course many times more for the accommodation. Maybe this is a result of our question on the first day. The room wasn't clean up when we returned from the slopes. The Empire strikes back ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I asked the waiter what was good on the menu and he said everything. I’ll confess we didn’t explore the entire menu but we ordered two of the traditional Austrian soups and took a gamble on the nachos. All of them were amazing. The ambiance is also classic ski lodge which is exactly what we were looking for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have thoroughly planned to hike the whole Lechweg. Booked the first night at this very conveniently located hotel, right across the street at the shuttle bus spot towards the starting point at Formarinsee. Unfortunately, I realised a mishap that night - my husband has mistakenly packed my daily medical pills in a separate luggage which was already sent home. I asked the front desk lady Lena for help. She noted down very carefully the specific pills I need and she called the doctor’s office the first thing in the morning, even before they officially opened their office. She also made sure that the pills were available. She has arranged to go pick up the pill right away in the morning which enabled me to get on the shuttle bus on time to start Lechweg trail. Great appreciation and thanks for Lena’s kind assistance. She saved my journey, which was outstanding!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ More than glad to recommend! Stayed here for about a week with my family for a ski holiday. Location is wonderful for skiing - right next to lifts. Stores and shopping are all walking distance. Meals were fantastic. Service was wonderful - delivered with Austrian warmth!
