★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Einen Kapelle an diesem Ort wird erstmals 1267 erwähnt. Der Kirchenbau erfolgte Ende des 14 Jhd. Anfang des 15 Jhd. Die Kirche ist dem tiefreligiösen Kaiser Heinrich II der später auch heilig gesprochen wurde und seiner Gattin Kunigunde geweihnt, welche das Bistum Bamberg begründet haben, zu dem auch das Gebiet von Villach und Umgebung zählt. Statuen von Heinrich und Kunigunde sowie von Maria Magdalener schmücken den Hauptaltar. Besonders erwähnenswert ist eine Pieta sowie die Fenster die mit Heiligendarstellungen versehen sind.
 A chapel in this place is first mentioned in 1267. The church was built at the end of the 14th century at the beginning of the 15th century. The church was later sanctified by the deeply religious Emperor Heinrich II and honored by his wife Kunigunde, who founded the bishopric of Bamberg, which includes the area of Villach and the surrounding area , Statues of Heinrich and Kunigunde and of Mary Magdalene adorn the main altar. Particularly noteworthy is a Pieta and the windows are provided with saints.
