Nette Ferienpension, gutes Frühstück, gemütlich.. ?

Super goed, heel vriendelijke mensen, lekker eten, propere kamers, een echt warm familie gevoel als je er binnen komt. We gaan zeker nog eens terug. ??

I have stayed here twice and would stay again! Basic but very cheap but they should not charge for water with a meal!!!!!

Fantastic accommodation & service. There's a ski lift across the road.

Thomas and Tina run a great place here. Very friendly family atmosphere. Lovely food, spacious rooms... great.

My sister spent hours scouring web reviews for a really nice place to take me for a week to thank me for redesigning her garden. In retrospect, she’d have been better choosing a place with a pin! But let me give you the low down on the the good, the bad and the rest of it… First, the good points: the rooms, though basic, are kept very clean. The drying room is ample and works. Second, the acceptable points: you need to be aware that what you are booking is a very cheap hotel/hostel. Facilities are commensurate with this: TV costs an extra 4 euros a day; computer use is 1 euro per 15 mins and accessed standing in the main hallway; tap water is charged for (we were ticked off for bringing a plastic refillable bottle of water to our table even though we’d bought ample wine and beer). The proprietor, Tom charges for any drinking of tap water in the dining area even though most other hotels in the area supply a glass of tap water free with wine or coffee purchase as a matter of course. This comes as a bit of a shock to a Londoner where one is encouraged to carry a refillable water bottle pretty much everywhere and where access to tap water is seen as a basic human right! Third, the bad points. There is no communal sitting or relaxing area open during the day. The place often smells quite strongly of smoke as the staff smoke inside. Finally, the food is very mundane. Think school dinners but definitely not of the Jamie Oliver variety!. Although the meat is good quality, it is often covered with a tinned or bottle sauce, most of the veg are frozen, mashed potato is the powdered kind, sweets are often the “Angel Delight” variety. This gave me a major problem as am badly intolerant to MSG and other additives, so there was a lot I could not eat. Tina, was helpful in this respect, and cut me up a grapefruit which I had bought myself and which I ate instead of the soups. Fourth, The completely unacceptable points: We were just going out for a day trip out when the proprietor Tom suddenly started yelling at us that we’d complained to the Crystal Rep that the food was not fresh. When we countered that we’d actually seen the packets of powdered food he went ballistic..(Think a combination of John Cleese and Jack Nicholson in The Shining - although double the BMI). He followed us down the corridor and outside the Pension, shouting at us. We were seriously shaken, quite scared (he's a large and burly man), and very upset. We had never experienced any hotelier acting like this. (except of course on TV!) The following day we found a lovely hotel down the valley. With great food, lovely staff and fantastic facilities. We spent the rest of our week there. Phew!!

Just home from our second stay at Pension Enzian, every bit as good as last year. Good food, good, comfortable, clean accommodation, and Tom & Tina are great hosts. Best price too
