Mann kann auch unten am Natur Parkhaus Parken und mit dem Linenbus hochfahren. Atemberaubende Aussicht. The Schlegeis reservoir is a must, and in the best of weather. The road is subject to tolls. You can also park below at the nature parking garage and take the Linenbus up. Breathtaking view.

Sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für einige Hütten und schöne Bergbesteigungen.(Hoher Riffler, Schönbichler Horn) Deshalb auch im Regelfall stark überlaufen. Parken kostet zur Maut nix extra. Am Nachmittag bei schönem Wetter regelmäßig Verkehrschaos bei der Runterfahrt in Mayrhofen selbst. Dann steht man an der Kreuzung zur Straße aus Hintertux schon mal 45min. It's very nice up here. Very good starting point for some huts and beautiful mountain climbs (Hoher Riffler, Schönbichler Horn) Therefore, as a rule, very crowded. Parking costs nothing extra to the toll. In the afternoon, when the weather is nice, there is regular traffic chaos when driving down in Mayrhofen itself. Then you stand at the intersection with the road from Hintertux for 45 minutes.

S	Sanjukta Roy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the trail head (and are reachable by bus) for at least two hiking routes. One is the famous Olpererhütte Hike. The view from here of the Alps and it's reflection in the turquoise color water of the dam is quite amazing. There are chairs where you can lie down to rest after coming back from a hike or just to rest and absorb the beauty.
