Nice and safe location next to embassies. 500m to U1 metrostation. Easy access to best tourist attractions.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, nice rooms (even with baths) for that price, but breakfast is not so good

Price=Quality, quite rooms, comfortable bed, simple design, everything is new and clean. Only the garage of the hotel was a bit far, like 200 metres away.

I stayed at Clima City for 6 nights and was there for EGU-2014. It's a great hotel for a conference go'er or a tourist. On arrival I asked for a room in the uppermost floors (5th and 6th) and the reception girl, who was very courteous to me (so was everyone else), offered me a room in the 5th floor (no. 52) with the (great) street view. Floors below the 5th will not have this view. All floors are accessible by lift and stairs. The fair-sized room was extremely clean and was kept in that form through out the 7 days I was there by maids. There was a TV (one English movie channel, BBC, CNN, Bloomberg TV, and a bunch of Austrian channels), a small fridge, a small closet (~9'x3'), a desk, a telephone, a queen size bed, and very large windows with ample light. The toilet is small (enough for me) and with a shower cubicle (no tub). Water heats up in seconds. Breakfast (7 - 10 am) is limited (typical continental), warm croissants, fresh bread, butter, jam, ham, turkey, cheese, slices of tomato and cucumber, cereal, coffee, juices (orange/other), milk, sugar etc (no fruit). Access: I took a taxi (40 Euros) from the airport (VIE) because this was my first visit to Vienna. Later I realised that it was unnecessary. Just hop on the S7 train (4.20 Euros) at the door step of the airport, get down at Praterstern (<30 mins), and then get U1 subway line (2.10 Euros) towards Reumannplatz and get down at Taubstummengasse. It's a short walk (3 mins) from there to the hotel on Theresianumgasse street (take a right at Taubstummengasse and walk 1:30 mins). Bottom line, I overspent ~34 euros by taking a taxi. Getting to the Vienna International Center (VIC): Hop on U1 at Taubstummengasse and get down at Kaisermülen. It's 1 min by foot from there to VIC. You can visit any other tourist destination (e.g. Shwedenplatz, Stephanplatz) by hopping on U1 and the great thing is you don't have to change trains. Subway connectivity in Vienna is perfect so you need not worry about getting around. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again.

Small little hotel but decent. Breakfast ok. No gym unless you want to walk to their other hotel to use it. There are many grocery stores nearby.
